When Jericho returns on February 21 after its hiatus (I actually thought it was coming back at the end of this month but there's still another month to wait), several questions will (might?) be answered.
The first episode will show what happened 36 hours before the bombs dropped, in Jericho, Denver, and Washington, D.C. Maybe we'll finally get a hint as to who Hawkins really is and what exactly Jake was doing.
This has been one of the big surprises of the season for me. I really thought that it would be one of those science fiction-ish dramas that would go up against a powerhouse show on another network and either being canceled quickly and put on "hiatus" permanently. But this show has surprised with its ratings (it actually isn't doing too badly) and it's quality. There's a lot going on in this town, and I have to say that I'm more interested in what's going on in the town of Jericho than on that island over on ABC, at least for now.

This would be my surprise show of the season as well. I loved Skeet Ulrich in Miracles, thought it was a good show too. I tivo'd it but didn't watch it right away, I watched it after I had a few episodes recorded and started hearing some buzz about it. I've done this with a few shows in the past. It helps to get to see a few episodes in a row. It's sometimes hard to really get a feel for a show based on the pilot.
I can't believe it's another month before we get a new episode. I was already thinking about what am I going to do with Gilmore Girls and American Idol but I guess by then AI will be just on at 9 pm, right?

This show has it's corny CBS moments, but overall it's a very interesting show. I'm actually excited for it's return.

I, and others, have said this before, but I think it bears repeating: Jericho is appealing to Lost fans because 1. it's serial, and obviosuly we like that, 2. it has some ystery elements to it, and again, it's clear we like that, and 3. it actually answers a question once in awhile. There's no more stringing us along that is absolutely necessary. Unlike that island show, which is continually making up nonsense as they go along.

I felt the same way you did when I first heard about this series and made no effort to watch. Then, I started hearing about it; what viewers and critics were saying as well as the ratings. So, using CBS' online availability of show I watched the first episode and I've been hooked ever since. Jericho is so much more than just a genre television. The quality of the show isn't quite that of Battlestar Galactica, but it has that same kind of vibe: a show than can be easily dismissed as fantastical genre television, but actually turns out to be an interesting drama about the human existence with some fantastical elements. What has kept me interested, besides the mystery of what happened, is all the stuff that is brewing in the background of this small, backwater town; and we haven't even touched the surface of all that's going on. If the series can progress in a timely manner, and not drag things out like Lost, I think it will continue to be a success. However, this is the kind of series that should have a finite life. I hope the writers and prodcers behind the show have an end-game planned because Jericho will grow boring if things are dragged out too long.

I've watched it from the beginning, and love it. The tension level is high. I sit and go, why aren't you people rationing food? Why aren't you worried about the winter? What's with the farmers? Doesn't anyone out there can food? I grew up on a farm, and I did. Gracie with her keeping the store going drove me nuts. Everyone just acts like everything is normal. AGGGHH

I'm very into political/military thriller shows and such, so I was definitely anticipating Jericho back in September...and I was so thrilled with it. The fact that it is actually a compelling drama with good character interaction has actually made my girlfriend willing to watch with me. And I've been really pleased with their web extras. The background, the webisodes, the interviews and commentary, it's all been good. I am soo ready for it to be back!

Hey, I am just posting up a reminder that on next Tuesday (Feb 20) Jericho will be hosting an Inside Jericho live talk show at http://www.cbs.com/primetime/jericho/. It will be hosted by Entertainment Weekly’s Lynette Rice, and there will be guest speaker appearances by Jericho’s producer/writer/actor Carol Barbee and actor Skeet Ulrich. Don’t miss out!
