Winter X Games (9PM, ESPN)Last year's Winter Olympics opened my eyes to an unfamiliar sport: snowboard cross. How awesome is a superfast downhill race where competitors jostle each other while facing jumps, banks and moguls? And you gotta love the wipeouts. Twenty-year-old snowboarding star Shaun White won't be competing in the cross, but he will take on the the superpipe and slopestyle.

Hello all - your reviled "What to Watch" writer here. Bob's posts will be coming back to you Monday. We're revamping "What to Watch"; it'll post once a week on Mondays with six picks (one for each day) for the week ahead.
Those six picks will still be published on both AOL and TV Squad (the short "noteworthy" ones will only be on AOL). I hope you'll continue to read "What to Watch" and find it useful, but if not, I understand.
AOL TV and TV Squad is now one big happy family, so there will be a lot of sharing back and forth.

Hi Kelly,
It was never about you. You were put into the unenviable position of having to share AOL content with us. Content that I believe most of us don't want here.
AOL's TV coverage has always been an option for us. Regular TVS readers made their choice a long time ago. That's why they're here and not on AOL's site.

Hi Kelly
Thanks for speaking up. Like TomB said, it was never about you. We love TVS and what it gives us, and we're just upset that things changed without any explanation. So thanks for finally filling us in.

Thank you Kelly for bearing the brunt of the comments. I'm sure it wasn't an easy 2 weeks. It wasn't about you or what you wrote, but there were high expectations to live up to with TVS readers. Hey, if this had been done over at Engadget you would have been met with pages of comments "welcoming our new AOL overlords" to the blog.
It is good to know that we have been heard and our regular column by MY favorite TVS writer is coming back. I am still disappointed that the ONLY official announcement about any of this was the little blurb at the bottom of this posting.

Yea, we have nothing against you Kelly, it is just that the format of What to Watch is practically worthless compared to the very convenient old format.
