I guess that ABC never met a recap show it didn't like. Devoted Lost fans will spend the hour leading up to the show's winter premiere watching Lost--Survivor Guide, a clip show hosted by executive producers Carlton Cuse and Damon Lindelof. As usual, the episode will feature collections of major characters' flashbacks and brief summaries of past storylines. The episode's description also claims that some possibly unnoticed "island secrets" will be revealed. The employment status of previous recap show narrators Peter Coyote and Brian Cox was not mentioned.Lost Survivor Guide special to air before midseason premiere

After watching all this season's episodes about 20 times... I am excited to see them reordered with the flasbacks cut out
I just hope you get to hear Ben go "I want that boat." and Jack do his famous catch phrase "Kate, Damn it, Run!"

Perhaps Damon and Carlton's presence and pure geek charisma will make this one more entertaining [and revealing] than the past ones. Here's hoping!

I like Lost a lot but Heroes is really stealing my fandom away. I guess waiting like a bajillion weeks between episodes is a bit of a turnoff for me.

@ justelise. Blame everyone who whined about reruns last year. ;)

"Previously unnoticed secrets..will be revealed".
So the writers have been reading these columns and find that we the viewers missed key points and need to be hit over the head? This is a neew tactic for a show which is heavilly scrutinized for any and every inkling as to the future...

Is anyone tempted to just wait out the final 16 episodes and download them after, rather than sitting through commercials and time killing sequences?
This past weekend, watching the new BSG episode, I was struck by how much happened. More 'stuff' went down before the opening credits on Battlestar than would occur in an entire episode of Lost.

I hope this refresher course helps because I'm "Lost".

This show is still on? I completely forgot about it, mostly due to the fact that the first half of the season was so underwhelming. I hope they get their groove back in the last half.

To Margaret:
Agreed! Peter Coyote is awesome. He would be a great Lost guest star.
