We've talked about the FOX comedy The Loop several times on this blog. I didn't care much for the show. It had some good points and a ton of potential, but it just wasn't funny. I know, I know, there are many of you who disagree with me and will let me know in the comments below (as you have in the past), and I guess this news is for you people.
The show is coming to DVD on March 6. It's the first (and so far only) season of the show, all 7 episodes. The show will be in "Anamorphic Widescreen." I'm not sure, but I think that means it's going to be close-captioned.
This brings up a good point though: what happened to this show? Was it "officially" canceled or just put on "hiatus," that netherworld where shows go to die? It just seemed to be there one moment and then just not around anymore. Sorta like Stacked.
Update: The Loop lives! The second season premieres later this year.

They should have held off until the show bombs again so they could release "The Complete Series."

Ah, yes, urban 20somethings and their madcap, zinger-filled lives. We sure do need more shows like that!

I watched it. I liked it. Maybe mostly because he drove a Scion xB (but Black Cherry Pearl? ehh...), but the jokes were funny sometimes. I really liked the episode where they put the nair or whatever in the spa. Hilarious...

Philip Baker Hall is a major credit to his craft. His talents are about 80% wasted on this stinker of a show.

The Loop is a funny ensemble comedy with predatory office execs and hot roommate chicks. It's nothing short of excellent that it's returning this year. Awesomeness.

Oh yeah this is GREAT news!!!
This show is on par with Office Space in my book. Most the gags are centered around twisted office politics with our hero being the lone sane member in an otherwise crazy workplace. I'll be out the first day to pick up this set, I can't believe there were only seven episodes to the first season!
If you like rapid fire gags (both audio and visual) this show is second only to How I Met Your Mother in delivering them. Throw in some tasty eye candy and you've got a recipe for a hilarious and enjoyable series. Can't wait to see what season two will bring!

Good news for Bret Harrison on both counts - DVD and a new season.
