(S02E14) First thing's first, you have to love the title of this episode -- anyone who knows Dominic Purcell's past might get a chuckle out of that.
It's hard to get entirely excited about this show these days, when so many other shows I love come crashing out of the gates with season premiere-like episodes to kick off the second half of their seasons. This episode wasn't what I'd call super-stellar, though it had its moments.
I'm glad they showed Linc remembering what Kellerman did to him. And his reasoning for why Linc and Michael should stick around with him makes enough sense that it's not absurd for them to help each other. Though with how this episode ended, one has to wonder why they'd continue to need him around.
T-Bag's story has an air of and end to it with what he's doing to his "family" right now. How is it that the kids were never told about "Uncle Teddy" and his true past? Was he with that family so long that she didn't want to break the news to the kids? They seemed old enough to have taken it softly, especially with the son giving T-Bag a good whack on the head without a whole lot of thought.
With Steadman gone, what could Kellerman, Linc and Michael possibly do to clear everything up? I'm sorry to sound so negative, but the way this show has been progressing, I can't see how the endgame will feel all that satisfying and believable. Though, of course, I'm curious as hell to know what they do.
I'm definitely interested to see what Mahone has up his sleeve and if he means to take out Kim rather than do the job Kim set him out to do. Judging by what was in his trunk, I'm thinking Kim's not long for this world no matter what Mahone's immediate plans are.
As for Bellick, while his part of the story is fun to watch, I'm not sure I get why it's pertinent to the show. Though I guess you could argue the same point about T-Bag, C-Note and the rest of the escapees. However, following the other escapees reminds us of the wrongs Michael caused to make one right, and in the end I'm not sure seeing Michael smiling on a beach in Mexico is going to seem convincing and satisfying.

I get the feeling with this season that the creators probably optimistically intended it to last one season, and, since the ratings boomed, they had to extend the storyline, and now its getting kind of jumbled.
I've heard that it's set end is after Season 3, but with the way these storylines are running out of steam now, I'm not exactly sure how they're going to make it there.

What about Sara Tancredi? They didn't show any of her in this episode. I thought she had some kind of evidence (the key) that will help exonerate Linc?

During this episode I noticed that almost all of the books behind the happy family watching TV (see pic. above) were written by Stephen King. Poor "Mrs." T-Bag is now living a nightmare as horrific in her mind as anything Mr. King could contrive.

I enjoyed Prison Break more than 24, but I knew Mr. Steadman was going to off himself as soon as he was taken. He had no upside in the scenarios laid out. Dr. Tancredi is due back, so, I wouldn't sweat her omission. Kellerman is the key now, and it appears that Mahone is helping out too. There may be a silver lining after all.
C-Note's story has taken an awful turn. Just painful to watch--well...it would be if his daughter was played by a better actress. It's ironic that the guy giving him the grief on the phone was the reason he went to prison in the first place. I hope he starts making good decisions.

ok right before the show started in Montreal there was a quick commercial thingy showing Haywire falling down off a crane or a half-finished building or something like that so he probably got cornered.It seems that Mahone is now more believeable then Kellerman i mean Kellerman LOOKS trustworthy but i find his actor should stick as it was in the episodes in november i find they were much better.as for sara in the same commercial we see sara kissing Michael (ooo la la)so either Kellerman is dead , not there or Sara was fuming when she saw him cause...well lets just say that attemtpting to drown someone and then meeting them would be a little akward...(Kellerman)~Ya , sorry about that whole well y'now...the thing. As for Bellick i found that wen he decided to go crazy on all those guys was well crazy..i think he's gonna be dead soon.o well i never liked him.and it also seems T-bag is going INSANE! i thought he was gonna kill that girl but w/e life goes on and T-Bag just becomes more and more angry(to say the least).i would probably rate this show a 5/10 because there have been better episodes.

I keep watching this for the same reason I keep watching Lost. I've watched it from day one and I just have to see how it ends. After the initial 9 or so episode run run I'm starting to like this show less and less. With all the smartass agents and how underused Michael is now is very frustrating.

i'm done. didn't even watch the eppisode just deleted it from the dvr. was even happier about it after dominic was on jimmy kimmel and had nothing nice to say about the dallas area and seemed completely disinterested in his role. way to sell a strugging show to the people who were trying to stick with it.

I waited with such anticipation of this new episode. It was a bit disappointing. There was not enough Michael! Also, Michael has been making such great moves, why call the police and give up? Why? I also knew Steadman was going to kill himself because he's Thatcher on Grey's Anatomy! Anyway, I love Michael and would like to see more smart moves by him. His intellect is such a great part of the character, so him doing something totally dumb, is not believable.

I liked this one, but when the three guys considered what to do with Steadman and rejected DNA matching, i think they were wrong - comparison of his and president's DNA would show pretty much conformity - being brother and sister. But it would end plot too soon :-)
