FOX is preparing to launch a new morning show with Mike Jerrick and Juliet Huddy, former weekend co-hosts of Fox and Friends. The new morning show will air at 9am in markets where News Corp. owns the stations. I never watched Fox and Friends, so I can't tell you how entertaining these two hosts are, but FOX is confident that the show will mix well with its other popular morning programming.
Before coming to Fox and Friends, Jerrick hosted specials on HBO and SciFi and was also a co-host on Good Morning Philadelphia. Huddy started at Fox News as a reporter in 1998. According to AP, the new show will use some of the same elements as other shows but also try a few different ideas to set itself apart. Ultimately, however, I think the success of any new daytime talker will come down to how likable the hosts are. You can try all the gimmicks you like, but if the hosts can't endear themselves to the audience, you've already lost.
The Morning Show with Mike and Juliet premiered this morning. If your caught it, I'd like to hear your reaction.

I saw it today, its not bad, but its not based on Fox & Friends Weekend that they co-hosted together. It's based on DaySide they hosted M-F at 1pm on Fox News which was replaced with Live Desk when they started preparing for this new show.

Man, those Disney Imagineers are working overtime. And these "uber-perky" figures can even hold a coffee mug without crushing it...But do they really drink?
Too bad that they are only programmed to follow their daily-fax talking points.
A (animatronic) mind is a terrible thing to waste.

I watched the show this morning, and thought it was a good start.
I have been a Huddy watcher since her days at Fox & Friends, so I came in pretty optimistic.
I think they were a little cafined-up this morning - and I think things are going to run pretty smooth from here on out.

During the segment on cheeper face products, there was no mention about what was in them. Did they have any petroleum, petrolatum or mineral oil in them? By all means do not put vaseline on your face. These ingredients are made from what we put in our gas tanks to make our cars run. There are companies that make products without these products. I know a good one.

I loved the dayside show, was very much waiting for new show to start, I have to be honest, I have not been very impressed,
there have been too many non controversial subjects, good with audience partition. Get back to subjects like illegal aliens, the southern borders, war in Iraq your audiences were always more excited about those subjects like this and so was I, those left wing zealest for illegal aliens always stirred up a lot of action, you need all the extra conterversal subjects you would have on dayside to get your new show on fire. people want anger and passion to keep their attention. right now I find myself wandering
You two have the perfect chemistry as hosts, but don't have conterversy that you had on dayside

SUGAR in the tank, when sugar in sufficient quanities, will liquify in the gas, when it is heat in the process of combustion in the engine, it will coat the engine internal parts with liquid sugar, ideally when the engine cools after shutdown, it will solidify and sieze moving engine parts, to one another (bearings, sleeves, injectors, valves), if you want to mess with someone, try moth balls, they are alchol based, and will either burn the engine due to overhesating combustion temps, or have the same effect as sugar when cooled, dual whammy

Juliet, I can't believe you would sit there next to Joely, daughter of Eddie Fisher and Connie Stevens, sister of Carrie, friend of Ellen, sit com star, broadway star and say, "I didn't know you could sing!" Don't you read the bios?
