Maui Fever (8PM, MTV)I love 'Laguna Beach.' So much so, I even love its spawn. The ditzy models of '8th and Ocean' grew on me, and I fully expect to become completely addicted to this sun and surf reality drama. The show will follow seven young Maui residents who, according to MTV, spend "their days sunning and their nights partying with no rules and no one to answer to." Can TV really get any better than that?
NEW AND NOTEWORTHY
American Idol (8PM, Fox)
The juggernaut rolls on, crushing all in its path. It airs another two-hour audition episode
The Naked Trucker and T-Bones Show (10:30PM, Comedy Central) series premiere
Comedians David Allen and David Koechner shared twisted tales from their cross-country road trip. Rest stop humor ahead.
MythBusters (9PM, Discovery)
Arrrr, Adam and Jame test pirate cannonballs, matey.
Beauty and the Geek (8PM, The CW)
Makeover time! No doubt at least one geek will prove to be a PUB (pretty ugly boy). You know, the kind who's really hot underneath his glasses, frumpy clothes and bowl haircut.

I have always one to quickly argue with Bob Sassone's takes on TV shows in some of his posts but I mean I think he does one of the better jobs as a blogger at TVsquad.
I've also always been appreciative for the job he did summing up whats on that night and who the guests on the late night shows are. Now we have a new person doing the "whats on tonight" post. Not only is it now done at 10 AM so the post will be buried by the afternoon when people are getting ready to go home from work but "Maui Fever" as the feature show, and incorrectly listed as being on Fox.....ummm yeah well, I hope its because Bob wanted to stop doing these posts.

I prefer having the "what to watch" on in the morning, or at least earlier in the day than it used to be. Once I get home from work I don't have a chance to check the interweb for information. I can usually remember that there's something I wanted to see at 9 o'clock even if I can't remember what that something might be.

I don't care if you put "What to Watch" in the morning or afternoon, but tell me which shows are new episodes and which are repeats, that's most important to me. I know what night Lost is on, I won't forget, but I want to know if it's new that night, or not.

I second the motion to bring back new episode or repeat info. That's what keeps me coming back to the site each day.

please bring back the previous column. It is easier just to read it rather than having to click on the post.

another call for the old column format...additionally, if you are going to use links as the titles, Why not link to the TVSquad tags??

I agree about bringing back the other column. Bob Sassone's column was more enjoyable to read and more informative.

I have never posted a comment on this site. I just read and enjoy, and have for about two years.
This format has caused me to pry open my mouth. It is not good at all! Kelly, thank you for trying, but I want Bob! I also do not care what time it is posted, but I like the old format much better. I prefer the channel to be listed then everything that will be on that channel tonight. You have got to tell us which are new and which are repeats. If this continues, I will not be frequenting the website nearly as much. I logged in everyday for the TV Tonight info. Looks like I am going to be spending more time on my satelite guide! UGH!!!!!!

Since there was no site announcement regarding a permanent change to the feature, I was kind of hoping that this was a temporary problem. It doesn't seem that way any more.
OK, first of all the smarmy title has to go. Tell me what is on, and let ME decide what to watch.
I must agree with those who asked to return to posting this information later in the day. Now I just skip right over what are probably good posts to get to this after I get home from work.
I also agree with the comments regarding identifying new vs. rerun episodes of the shows.
And finally, the reason I decided to write today - Casablanca on TCM at 8! How does this get left off a list of significant things to watch on television?
Please go back and use some of Bob's old posts as a template. At least change the name back so I don't feel like I'm being told what to do.

Is this site's target audience concerned at all with the Laguna Beach crowd?
