The Rachael Ray phenomenon will stretch at least through the end of this decade. Her syndicated talk show, which premiered last fall, is renewed through 2010. No surprise, really, considering how popular she is. A survey done by King World last year found that she's the "most likeable television host" we have right now, with Paula Deen, Ty Pennington and even Oprah trailing behind her. Although, I have to agree with Bob's assessment that the woman is just plain exhausting.Bob and I are evidently in the minority, however. Rachael's show is the highest-rated syndicated talk show since Dr. Phil debuted in 2002. According to TV Week, her show averages a 2.1 rating and is consistently ranked among the top five talk shows on television. So far, one-third of the country has signed on to carry Rachael Ray through 2010.

What's with the search jerk comments? I clicked on 3 articles this morning to find them.
I like Rachael's recipes alot, especially some of the ones she is doing on her new talk show because they aren't 30 min meals. Two of my new favorites take much longer but are wonderful. I'm not as big of a fan of the show though. I Tivo it and watch about 2 or 3 of them while on the treadmill because I can fast forward through so much. She does have some interesting friends (not experts) who do some fun segments on party styling or double uses for items etc. But the cooking is usually near the end and it is fun when she gets a celeb in who is hopeless in the kitchen with her. She gets them to talk about different stuff because they are nervous about cooking or too busy to clue in they are on tv or something.
Anyway, her talk show isn't bad. I just like her laid back every person's style to food.

I want to like here...I've tried to watch, but her "I'm so cute and bubbly" attitude gets old real fast. She exhausts me.

I dont like her either. The recipes are good but she isn't a good interviewer. The other problem I have with her is that she is too loud of a talker, no matter what my TV's volume is. I only watch daytime talk when I'm sick so its not fun to listen to.
