American Idol (8PM, Fox)
Just when you think 'American Idol' can't get any bigger, it does. The first season averaged 12.7 million viewers; last season averaged over 30 million. A whopping 36 million watched Taylor Hicks triumph over Katharine McPhee in the finale. Some people are predicting a drop this year, but most of 'em are envious executives at other networks. 'Idol' is a cultural juggernaut. Deal with it.
Check out AOL Television's extensive coverage of 'Idol.'
NEW AND NOTEWORTHY
Fashion Police: The 2007 Golden Globes (8PM, E!)
Who cares who won? What did they wear?
The Real Housewives of Orange County (10PM, Bravo)
'The O.C.' got cancelled, but its spawn (including 'RHOC' and 'Laguna Beach') live on. And the show's "American Idle" ad campaign is such a shameless display of bandwagon-hopping.
America's Funniest Home Videos (8PM, ABC)
In another shameless attempt to partake in 'Idol' glory, 'AFHV' runs two hours of clips featuring performances from school plays, concerts and other venues.
The Unit (9PM, CBS)
Mr. Felicity Huffman (William H. Macy) guest stars as the president, who enlists Jonas on a secret mission.
ALSO ON TONIGHT
The Bad Girls Club (10PM, Oxygen)
Boston Legal (10PM, ABC)
Dirt (10PM, FX)
Fabulous Life of ... Celebrity Breakups (10PM, VH1)
Most Deadly (10PM, Discovery)
NCIS (8PM, CBS)
Law & Order: SVU (10PM, NBC)

I hope this doesn't permenantly replace that "what's on tonight" column that ran every afternoon - that was great for setting the dvr for everything that night, rather then just the couple of things shown here

While I liked the content of the old. I do like that this is posted at 10 AM vs. 5 PM (CST) and I like the links. Any way it could be combined?

Yeah, what they all said. That was the only place on the Web, that I know of, that listed all the worthwhile (most of the time) stuff to watch.
I want it back.

I agree with everyone above - I liked the old column better, though it could have been posted earlier in the day, and maybe a combo column would be best. I too relied on the old column every day. Please bring it back.

Yep, I agree with everything posted so far. Although I know that TVS is a "corporate cousin" of AOL, all this AOL crossover lately is making me a little nauseous.
Bring back "What's on Tonight"!

Oh yeah, one more thing. These ads between the articles that are supposed to look like articles just really piss me off.

I liked the old "What's On Tonight" as well. Why do corporations have to mess with what's working. If it's not broke, don't fix it. Sheesh.
