I've gotten sick and tired of seeing this story on every single morning, afternoon, and evening news program, so I'm glad someone else has mentioned it.
I'm talking about the controversy surrounding the guy in the Tigger suit who assaults (?) the teenager. His dad filmed the whole thing, and now the family is outraged. They demand an apology (no money so far). Disney has suspended the worker while they investigate.
But is this "news" or just a wacky home video? CJR Daily talks about all of the airplay the story and the video have been getting on all the news shows this past week. Is it an assault? This is a non issue, Tigger barely touched the kid and the kid appeared to be pulling some s#$@ behind Tiggers back.

Wow, I've never felt so happy about not watching any televised news programs. I read a newspaper, I check news on the web, but I've never heard of this silly infotainment nugget. If only everyone else tuned out until they stopped covering this stupidity...

It's fairly obvious the "child" loses his balance while holding on to Tigger's back, pulling him backwards and yanking him to the right. Tigger did not "punch" him and this family is disgusting. If I see the "outraged" father one more time I'm going to scream. It was an accident, get over it, move on with your blasted life.

Tigger was provoked! You can see the kid grab his tail which makes it hard for Tigger to breathe. Therefore he tried to break away from the Punk Kid. That was not a punch, punch is with a fist. Do tiggers have fist? that was barely a slap too, it looked accidental that it hit his face.
Tigger is innocent!!! Shame on the punk kid and his father! Shame!
