Bill Maher appeared at the TCA to tease the upcoming fifth season of Real Time with Bill Maher (that's already four Bill Maher mentions between the headline and this -- I hope the check's in the mail). He let us know that he wishes (hopes?) that he could get Bill or Hillary Clinton as a guest, and that they have trouble getting a lot of conservatives to appear because, "most of them are in bed by 8PM on a Friday night, getting ready for church."Real With Bill Maher (*cha-ching*) premieres on February 16th.

Maher sounds like a screwed up individual, or maybe it's just that his idea of comedy and mine don't meet up. Probably a little of both coupled with the fact that he's a rabid liberal bashing anything near conservative at any chance.
Take the low road, Bill, at least you'll have plenty of company. Narrow-minded asses are in plentiful supply on both sides of the aisle.

Bill Maher often comes off as a douche who laughs at his own jokes too much. But then I discovered his HBO show. I really like the discussions on the show and it often brings out the ridiculousness of both the right and left-wingers (mostly the right though).
And "New Rules" is always fun.

Anytime you see a conservative panelist on Maher's show, he's usually sitting between 2 liberal panelists. Facing a 3-on-1 attack, it's no wonder conservatives don't want to do his show.
If Bill or Hillary ever showed up on Maher's show, there'd be so much liberal ass kissing it'd turn into a freaking porno.
People love to attack O'Reilly. But a few weeks ago, I watched him take on both Paul Begala and James Carville at the same time. Show me one liberal commentator willing to take on two conservatives. Maher doesn't have the guts. Olbermann can't even handle one conservative on his show. Liberals just can't handle people that disagree with them.
