Huge news right here if you can't wait for the new season of 24 to roll around. Apparently, the first four episodes of the new season have been leaked to the web and they're readily available for those that like poking through various BitTorrent sites. It's speculated that this may be the doing of AsiaTeam, a group who has been credited with uploading TV shows in the past. Seems like they may have gotten hold of the DVD that FOX plans to release after the premiere airs.
It took me a few minutes, but so far I've found dedicated links to the first two episodes. For legal reasons, I can't provide the links. However, I'm not even close to what I would call technically savvy. So if I can find these, anyone can. Happy hunting Jack Bauer fans.

I know people who wait for 24 to be over and on DVD before they watch it. They Netflix or buy it and watch it in one sitting. Fox knows what they're doing - it will sell.

my bad, when we hear releasing and episodes in the same phrase, we usually mean torrent release...
anyway, it seems obvious as to why it wouldn't be a good idea to release THE DVD before the episodes air. I agree that it might seems weird to produce such a dvd at all but the fact is that it worked pretty well with futurama.

Its just too late to stay up for 2 more hours. at any rate, alexandar siddig fans will love the second hour, as his character is the islamic version of Jack Bauer....and thats a veeeeerry good thing. lmao

Well I've watched them all and a few storylines come to a close and there's a fairly major character death. Palmer's sister seems to be the only storyline that's currently stretching and it's almost bursting at the seams, especially considering the last few moments of the fourth episode at CTU. Jack also goes through quite a rollercoaster of emotions and self-doubt. Nothing much new, especially the ending. It's not NEW, but it IS surprising.
