How does Rosie even come out smelling like a rose in all of this? When you insult someone's morals, what the hell does she expect? And, really, while she may not be a failure, she is definitely fat. Even Rosie says so. Come on; Rosie was wrong, and has been wrong in her trying to create crusades over the Kelly/Clay debacle and now this.

Rosie O. is a self righteous bigot as evidenced by her blaming all the evils of the world on old white men, and she uses the word "pimp" towards these men, and doesn't acknowledge the racial or ethnic component of most pimps. She is low class, and not worth listening to...

a) People are still interested in watching The Apprentice? Really?

b) Rosie is certainly entertaining, and I do think that she's responsible for the higher ratings on The View, but what I can't figure out is how everything she says always and at any time becomes grist for the chattering class? She's just a woman on a TV show.

c) Having said that, why are you people so entranced with the wit (not) and wisdom (not again) of one Donald Trump? What does he do that is so noteworthy? There are a boatload of much more successful business people, there are better reality show hosts, there are certainly better looking people out there. If I hired a publicist and shot off my frickin' mouth every time someone said my name would you be interested in me? Trust me, it's not that interesting. And neither is Trump. Nor Rosie, I must say.

And please, little Trumps, just go into daddy's business quietly and keep your traps shut.

I'm not a Rosie fan, but she is dead right about Trump. So what if Rosie is overweight - according to most statistics ALL americans are overweight. Being overweight is not the worst thing a person can be - unless you are Donald Trump. Do you think he would have let his daughter on the show is she was overweight? He's just a grumpy old man - fighting with a woman. Did she step over the line - probably - but his responses have been showing a side of him that will hurt his business.

They are both loud mouths, but Trump has taken this thing too far. Rosie is a (well-paid) talking head and her job is to say crap to get a rise out of her audience. She certainly wasn't the only talk show personality harshly critiquing the whole Miss USA debacle, though she probably did go too far in going after him directly. But most people have moved beyond what she said because he has been such a nasty jerk in his response to her. He should have been the adult in the situation and turned it around on her in a funny way, not by acting like a mean bully. At this point the best thing he could do is to just shut up and tell his daughter to shut up, so that the whole thing can blow over. The whole mess between them has proven one point my mother has long held, money can buy many things but class is not one of them (I'm sure I didn't say that half as well as she does).

The thing I think people are missing is that this feud is interesting despite how many people say it isn't. You have columnists, television reporters, bloggers and everyday people saying how childish and what a non story it is, yet no one can stop writing or talking about it.

The real story is both of these people are keeping this going because it is bringing ratings. Rosie did it, along with several other foot in mouth moments, because it is bringing incredible ratings to the one time suffering View. Trump is keeping it going because his Apprentice is about to premier after a previous two lackluster seasons.

Both are being childish, but in doing so, both will bring ratings and in the entertainment world, that is all that matters.

I think it's wrong that Rosie went after Trump personally. But Trump is the king of all PR and he believes getting his name in the papers for free is great. Remember how the ratings dropped on his show and he attacked Martha? Well ratings were low again and the show took a long break and look what he's doing again... stirring things up so people will want to talk to him about the feud and the show.

I'm not watching this time. I like to watch Cold Case and Desperate Housewives so I'm not making room for a third show. I also hate the idea of the losing team sleeping in tents in the backyard. This is supposed to be a long interview for a job. Adding in bad sleeping conditions etc. is wrong. Now it's more about gimmicks than doing actually work projects. They do too much promotion of other companies and pimping products too.

Rosie was wrong to attack Trump. I think giving a 20 year old a 2nd chance when she was drinking underage is wrong too. Helping her, paying for rehab, sure but don't let her keep the title. But it's press for Trump's Miss USA pageant is all he wants. Press for his show is all he wants. I'm sorry he's teaching his kids that this kind of press is a good thing.

Although I am not a loyal fan of Trump, I do agree with him. This morning on the Today's Show, it was Meredith who started the topic about Rosie. Ever since and even before she began the View, Rosie has a history of bullying people from Kristie Alley, Star Jones, Kelly Ripa to Trump. NONE of these people said anything against her. She instigates each time, making wrong or judgemental statements against people. I am glad she is getting a taste of her own medicine.

It does not matter if Rosie was right or wrong. The fact is, Trump fights like a 2 year old child who can't admit his own faults (Chapter 11 Bankruptcy, failed personal relationships, and BALD - For an alleged measley 3 Billionaire, you would expect better personal hygiene!).

I read somewhere an article in which the author said: Trump is the biggest self promoting fraud around, who bankrupts casinos,take investors for a ride. convince banks to throw more money his way and come out smelling like a rose....
I myself see a man who doesn't have any class and I doubt even knows what it is. He likes nobody but himself.Just ask his previous wives.
Without his father's money and his father's name, he would be just an average Joe and a bad looking one..He is angry mad at anyone reminding him of the truth he is not a man to face and people's rights to freedom of speech.Deep inside he is a very insecure man just like so many other so called power men who ended up insane..The hair is one indication that he is already cultivating the look and the comments he keeps making about Rosie O'Donnel proves everything else already mentioned..

Anyone claiming this is going to hurt Trump's business apparently doesn't follow star fueds that often. All this is going to do is generate more interest for any projects both people are involved in.

All I want to is this: It is such a BIG shame for a man like Trump to get into this sort of "petty bickering" with Rosie. If he really thinks of Rosie that way, then bickering with her would only bring himself down to her level. As if the average person doesn't know how to judge for himself who is right. Act like a man and just shut up!

I have been wanting to write Barbara Walters since I heard R. O. was joining "The View". But I felt who am I to question Barbara Walters decision? I felt that Barbara Walters was much smarter, stronger then R. O. and knew better in NOT allowing R. O. taking over "The View", but R. O. just could NOT join the ladies because she is NOT one herself! So all she has done is, bring down the level of class & respectability into "The View". Has anyone noticed how R. O. is not answering Trump since Barbara Walters is back?
What was wrong with Trump forgiving that young girl? We all have made mistakes at one point or another in our lives. What ever happened to forgiveness? Trust me people Barbara Walters is way tooooooooo smart to put up with the classless acts of THE R. O. for much longer. I pity those children she calls hers!

Rosie owes "The Donald" an apology, which he will
never get. Where did she come off making the original comments!!! I agree that it has gone too far,
but could be resolved I think with an apology to Mr. Trump. I don't personally watch "The View" anymore. Used to enjoy it, when it started with a variety of personalities that mixed well. It has changed so much, it's not enjoyable anymore, especially with
Rosie, who overtalks everyone and is not classy enough for that show. Who put her in charge anyway?

I couldn't agree more!! I used to set my alarm to watch that show ... now you couldn't pay me to. It has become a political grandstand for bush bashing. Bring Meredith back ... and get rid of Rosie!!!
