That's right -- we're still looking to bring on more talent to the TV Squad team. And like last time, we've got some rather specific qualities we're looking for in the people we bring in. Specifically:- You're a huge fanatic (I mean incredibly so) of at least one of the following shows: Lost, American Idol and/or 24. (Seriously, when we mean fanatic, we're talking you'd never miss a live broadcast of the show.)
- You've got the writing chops (duh).
- You watch the Eastern time zone feed for these shows (some people in other time zones might have satellite access to Eastern time zone airings, so that's open to you).
(UPDATE: Thanks so much everyone for applying, but for now we've found everyone we need. For those who applied, we'll be keeping your stuff around for the future. But for now, the email address above is closed.)
To apply, email three original writing samples (these must be applicable samples, as in things you'd see on TV Squad) along with a bit about yourself and why you think you're a good match to appsATtvsquadDOTcom. Please don't simply direct us to your blog or former pieces of work, and DO NOT send attachments of any kind. We'll update this post when we've found who we need. Please do not apply in the comments below -- only emails to the address mentioned.
Oh, and before you ask, yes this is a paying gig and we will discuss the details with qualified applicants. Thanks and good luck!

I'm not just a fanatic of 24 and Lost, I hold weekly events at my place for both! I'd apply, but I'm way too busy of a person to spend time writing.

What might the timeline be for this? Is it going to be first-come, first-served or is there some sort of deadline that I should watch out for?

Lost, Am Idol, and 24 are actually at the BOTTOM of my watch list. How are those still on ?! Ugh. Let us know when you're looking for fresh blogging of the "Fun Ones" - Family Guy, American Dad, The Office, Adult Swim, and the like.

This may be a stupid question, but where do I find the email address to email the writing samples to?
I looked all over the site, but I can't seem to find it.
Can anyone help? What's the email address?

I'm going to apply with some original writing, but since I have never written anything I would like to see published about television before, I will send you three essays I will write in the next day or two. I hope that is okay.

Erica, if the suspense is killing you here, how do you have the stomach to handle "24"? Just kidding. Good luck all!

Dave. it is called 24 in repeats on A&E as well as other lovely cable channels. Thank goodness. Oh, and the ads for the new season, though I usuually need oxygen afterwards. But I think I will be okay. *Cross fingers*
