I kind of agree with Rosie. Trump's a chump. (Hah!). He's a clown and a joke. He's all but ruined NY with his vertical 'empire' and he's a shady businessman. But all that aside, I don't think Rosie was saying Trump's wrong for giving Miss USA a second chance; I think she was just criticizing him for using the matter for his own publicity (Apprentice, etc.). This is pretty much proven by his "strike back" to People magazine that very day. He did the same thing with Martha Stewart last year when *her* ratings were slipping, and he wanted to boost his.

I wouldn't really say Trump was jumping on the Rosie bashing bandwagon, since his comment was not unprovoked. She launched a salvo at him and of course, in Trump style, he responded. most billionaires would not pay her much attention, but Trump is also a celebrity who wants to protect his overbearing image to the public.

What I want to know is why the hell is Rosie commenting on this at all? You would think she would be for second chances and understanding people screwing up. Now she is the morality police?

I guess ABC got what it was looking for, because like her or not, she is bringing incredible publicity to that coffee clatch Yenta hour.

I don't know where to stand on this issue, because I hate both Trump and Rosie. I think I'll just stick with my original position of supporting the right hot 20 year olds to get drunk, party and make out with other hot 20 year olds.

Rosie is a psycho. Anything that spews from that Beluga whales mouth should be ignored. I have no idea why she is even a TV personality. So far as hilarious lesbians go, my money is with Ellen Degeneres. She is never controversial (except for the obvious lesbian thing)ever sweet, and always gracious and witty. One dead pan from Ellen and you can bust up. Rosie, learn a few things from her, or you will be like Joy Behar in a few years, without the GREAT personality.

Ya know.. I used to like Rosie.. I watched her show and I found her "enjoyable" ... But since she became a bitter lesbian (not that being a Lesbian is an issue).. I have started to find her not so "enjoyable". She needs to learn that just becaus she is in the Limelight that htere are times when she needs to learn to keep her mouth shut. I am not a fan of The Donald either, BUT....... well... she needs to learn to shut up.... an thats all I have to say about that.

I think Ms O'Donnell should be removed from that show because of her conduct. Now she is once again putting her nose and BIG MOUTH where it is not needed.

Mr Trump is a business man and runs things the way he seems fit to do so. As long as it is moral and legally done we have no real say in the matter. His financial status is not the problem, his business decisions are not the problem, Ms O'Donnell's saying things that she does not have a clue about is a real problem. Once again she has opened her mouth, inserted foot and removed all doubt from the minds of others that she is full of hot air and has nothing worth hearing to say.

To long has America let the corrupt minority and TV hide behind freedoms of speech to air their filthy and smutty thoughts. I believe we have the right to voice our opinions yes but not when they are an attempt to make one's self fell better because of the INADEQUACIES of HER own life. Flaunting your own faults is not a good way to make a name for yourself Ms O'Donnell.

Ms O'Donnell is trying to make a name for herself by being controversial and saying things about the DECENT people of this country.

Not to many years back those that knew the lifestyle they chose to live was wrong; they kept it a secret and to themselves.

Why has that changed?

Why is it now been made ok to so many?

What has happened to the morals of our once great nation?

Rosie O'Donnell should have stayed away from commenting about Donald Trump's press conference and later attacking his wealth and image. I don't think that this was to build up momentum of Donald's Apprentice show on January 7th.This was a lot more personal Apprentice has lost some of its momentum in the last year--ratings slipped a bit last fall. So there might be some backlash and some viewers may stay away. Again, Donald listened to Tara Conner in their short conversation and later decided to keep her as Miss USA. Lastly, I thought that while she was explosive with her comments about Donald on The View, it was so funny when she moved her hair to look like Donald's annoying combover. I commend Trump for taking the high road and not getting as insulting as Rosie. This just came out of nowhere with all this back and forth. There are times where Rosie just needs to shut up sometimes. She's very opinionated and outspoken, but there are some areas where she shouldn't touch.

#12 Howard - I agree with you, its about time someone took out TRUMP. We all know hes a chump! Rosie only says what we are all thinking. The network hired her because she says whats on her mind. Do you all really think they would fire her?? She has numerous fans and ratings for the show are higher than ever. I tivo it everyday, just to here them speak on "Hot Topics" segment. At the end of a hard day at work, I can sit back and listen to them give us a "REALITY CHECK!" No other show has given women the power to speak up and tell it as they see it!! BRAVO TO THE VIEW!!!!!!!!!!!
And as for the fat joke put down that Trump told Rosie, well, he is double chinned and has a roll of fat around the middle. Trump is sexist and hates all fat people, poor people, etc. He is an elitest, but still wants the fat, poor, lazy people to watch his worthless, boring shows!! I hate Trump!

Rosie O'Donnell making fun of the Trumpster was very funny. It reminded me of The Three Stooges when Moe would make fun of Adolf Hitler in the Stooges video short "You Nazty Spy". About Donald Trump threatening to sue Rosie for his bankruptcy it reminded me of the Three Stooges "Disorder in the Court" when the prosecutor said to Moe "I'll sue you for this" when his toupee fell off. I can see it now. Donald Trump to former beauty queen Iris Avila. DT: "What type of example have I set for beauty pageants world wide?" Before the former Panama beauty queen can say "Gloria Quintana" Donald yells at her "DON"T ANSWER THAT!" and Iris says "Don't yell at me, I gave up my title for unkwown reasons."
