There's been a lot of coverage the past several days of the mountain climber tragedy on Mt. Hood in Oregon, and all of the cable networks have reporters reporting from the scene, either via video or via phone. FOX News correspondent Adam Housley is reporting by phone, and had an interesting conversation with the anchorman back in the studio.
If you take a look at the video and listen closely, when the anchorman asks Housley a question, it sounds like he says "you're f**ked" when referring to how dangerous the conditions are on Mt. Hood and how much trouble you would be in if you were a climber up there. I've played it several times, and even if you give him the benefit of the doubt and say maybe he actually said "you're right" or "you're fudge brownies," it still sounds like he's saying "you're f**ked."

Yep, sounds like "you're correct" just muffled by the fact that he's on a cell phone.
Also "you're f'd" wouldn't really make sense in context with what exactly was being said at the time.

Wait, you're nitpicking about the media's excessive coverage of the Miss USA scandal, but also complain about how some guy on Fox News might've dropped the F-Bomb? A little consistency couldn't hurt here, like maybe wondering why the Cable News Networks are spending so much time on either story (besides the fact that the upper-middle-class white breaking news stories might appeal to the like-minded audience). Sorry, just venting.

While we are making fun of Fox News during the space shuttle launch they had the wrong banner up. They got so lazy they reused the banner from 2 months agomission. It said it was the space shuttle Atlantis and the flight number was 115. The flight number was 116 and it was the space shuttle Discovery.

He sounded like he said "you're correct", which would make sense, since the studio reporter mentioned a 2,500 foot drop then asked him what he thought. The "you're correct' comment was almost certainly a response to the lenght of the drop.

As #10 said, the anchor was making some statements about the mountain, then asked the reporter what he thought, and the reporter told the anchor that his statements were correct. Think of it in Monday Night Football style. John Madden tells Al Michaels that he thinks that, from the waist down, Michael Vick has the best legs on a quarterback. He then asks Al what he thinks, and Al says "you're correct, John." Makes sense, right?
2) Yes, "correct" works. Say the word without the "rre." Cuct. And that's what happened, due to the distance the rre got cut out.
3) "You're fucked" makes no sense. The video isn't working for me now, but if I remember he didn't say "what do you think if you get trapped there." He asked what he thinks about the mountain. "You're fucked" isn't an appropriate response even without the vulgarity.
