David X. Cohen spilled a few beans recently to Toyfare Magazine about the upcoming new Futurama season that'll be both direct to DVD, and appearing on Comedy Central. Right now it's like the chicken and egg, and nobody knows which will come first, but I know that one way or another, I'll be watching. Here's a couple of tidbits:- The entire original cast is returning

Better late than never.
But I'm pissed off that we won't get any Futurama movies. I was hoping for 2 hour movies not 4 episodes made into a movie that will just be shown as a season.

i think they are planning new episodes and a dvd movie...i cant find the source at the moment but i still think thats the case.
