The first part of this new teaser features the same dancing CGI bunny and flowers as the other teaser for The Simpsons movie, but keep watching, because this is in fact brand new. Click here to watch it (WMV file), courtesy of Empire. I found this one much funnier than the last teaser, and I'm still as excited as child in a peppermint robot store* to see this movie in its entirety instead of all these little tidbits they keep tossing out to fans like bread crumbs tossed before pigeons. I can't really say much about it without giving away, so if you're still reading this, stop and click on the link and enjoy. Aside from the Comic Con footage that was leaked online, this is the second time I've laughed out loud at clips from this movie. Stoked is what I am. The movie hits theaters July 27, 2007.
*Robots made of peppermint. You can play with them and then eat them. That would be awesome.

Wow, this is the first time I've laughed at one of the bits - I haven't watched Simpsons regularly in a while, but the few new-ish episodes I've seen lately have inspired a little hope for me. They do still have the ability to be funny, let's hope they channel it all for this movie.

The Simpsons has been different for a while but since the start of season 17, their different style has come into it's own. The recent episode is a good example, as well as picks from S17 including My Fair Laddie and Girls Just Want to Have Sums. I hope the movie reflects this, even thought the episodes can be completely inconsistent.

It's taken far too long for a "Simpsons" movie. This movie should have been done years ago. I'm just as stoked as you guys are about the film. I hope this film has funny cameos like on their TV shows. I'm still a huge fan of "The Simpsons", and still watch on a regular basis. "The Simpsons" is still one of the top shows on TV today and they have been nominate for a People's Choice Award for Favorite Animated TV Comedy. I got to vote when nominees were announced because I work with the People's Choice Community. The People's Choice Award airs Jan 9th, on CBS at 9pm. Tune in to see if The Simpsons win!
