"Kristin" the series made it to air for six episodes in June and July of 2001. Bad show, which is a shame because the lady is 4'11" of great performer.

Kristin Chenowith starred in the original cast of Wicked before she did West Wing and it was wonderful and her sitcom did air for 1/2 a season. Nathan Lane is AMAZING on Broadway, but has never translated to the small screen, much the pity, he has so much talent. They would be a cute pair to watch if the show is done right. Good luck to them.

Kristen Chenowith is also the person that Harriet Hayes is modeled after in Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip.

This sounds great--he can play an acerbic, quick witted host with a sharp comic humor, and she can play a homophobic, over-exposed no talent Kathy Lee wannabee. Yeah, sounds like Regis and Kelly all right.

I am so sick of people dogging Kelly Ripa. If she had no talent how did she get to where she is now? Do you not realize she is an actress? She "acts" the part on Live because she is supposed to play second banana to Regis? He is supposed to get all the adoration? Get a grip. She seems to be a great person, a loyal wife and a great mom. What is so wrong with those attributes in Hollywood or New York? With so many marriages failing for celebs can she not at least get credit for those things?

Homophobic? Give me a break! Would you want someone you had only just met to put his gay or straight hand over your mouth? Besides, the comment: "I don't know where _____ has been" is as old as, well, maybe even Regis! And homophobe implies a fear of homosexuals. So, when you call someone that you do not allow for them to be anti-homosexual for what may be, to them, intelligent or faith-based reasons. And that makes you intolerant.

Hurricane Andrew--always good to hear from ignorant and uninformed people like yourself who have no idea whereof they speak, and could not care less about it, just happy to pick up on what other ill-informed people have said and repeat, repeat, repeat like some kind of parrot or something. Bet you thought Iraq was a good idea, too. Still, the show is a good idea, I liked Regis long before I knew anything about Kathy Lee or Kelly and I liked Kathy and was always a fan of Kelly's (from All My Children, right on through to Regis and Kelly) Hope this happens.

Kelly Ripa is a hoot! And she's not homophobic! Like any woman who lives with at least one man, we KNOW THAT YOU DON'T WASH YOUR HANDS AFTER YOU HAVE USED THE TOILET! I wouldn't want a strange man's hands over my mouth either, but that doesn't make me homophobic. Get over it!

I think this new show could be a hoot too! Great actors.
As for the Kelly Ripa homophobe stuff~get real~she is the most down to earth person. Clay Aiken was so rude to her from the beginning of the show that day. She tried to be cool with him, but when he did that to her it was an embarrassment. He should be ashamed. I think his little bit of success has gone too quickly to his head. She was just trying to be witty & make a comedic comeback for his rude behavior towards her.
So many jumped, including Rosie, to this homo stuff & if they'd been watching the show, it had nothing to do with that. Who wants some strangers hand put over their mouths. Like she said, who knows where his hand might have been. Men DON'T wash their hands as often as women do!

A Broadway musical about two talk show hosts would be a much better idea. It would make quite a story line with all that happened to Kathy Lee when she was the co-host. They could bring the story from when Regis first started right up to the present with new co-host Kelly Ripa.

Kelly Ripa is an ASS. She is VERY overexposed, and the "gee-wiz" veneer she built up is starting to slip. Good actress? are you KIDDING. What was the name of that show she did that disappeared like a fart in the wind?
