Jesse James, the host of Monster Garage, may be a bad ass but he also is a kind-hearted fellow. When a homeless shelter opened up across the street from his Long Beach, California motorcycle shop, West Coast Shoppers, he decided to make a connection. In a short article in People magazine, James says he decided to help people get off the street by giving them employment. The first person he hired is now making $8.50/hour and has an apartment with his wife. James says, "Not everyone has been as lucky as I have, and it's time for me to use the success I have been blessed with to help others in Long Beach." Ahhh.. what a nice guy!In other Jesse James/gossip news, he and wife Sandra Bullock are not expecting a baby.

You have got to be kidding.
Jesse James pays some homeless guy $8.50 an hour and the homeless guy is now renting an apartment in Long Beach, California? Checked the rents lately?

Is Monster Garage still on the air? I watch Discovery all the time, more than any other network, and I never see ads for it anymore.

I know you asked everybody to keep to the topics at hand, but I didn't know of a faster way to get your attention.
I am sure you have heard about Liquified Natural Gas (LNG) in the Coos Bay area. I am hoping you have an opinion on this matter. I have many concerns with LNG being transported, and stored so close to the residents of the area. There will be a meeting January 11, 2006 at Southwestern Oregon Community College in the Hale Center. My feeling is that this is a "Done Deal" already, but the people of Coos Bay have been sleeping while this has been happening. I know you are a very busy man, but Coos County could use your help.
