Lindsay Lohan says that the girls of Sex and the City are to blame for the way she lives her life, that Sarah Jessica Parker and Kim Cattrall and the others taught her that settling down with one man wasn't the thing to do, that she should play the field and sleep with a bunch of different people.
Also: she drinks a lot because she used to watch Cheers all the time, Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous made her crave a big mansion, and CSI made her want to become an expert in forensics.
The most terrifying news I got from the article above is that Lohan has a younger sister, Ali, who is also becoming an actress. Oh, great. I guess the gossip columnists and bloggers will be kept in business for at least another ten years. Parents, lock up your sons.

I can't wait for this generation of actresses/models/ex-Mrs.-Federlines/heiresses to fade away.
Of course we all lap it up, but frankly I'm tired of pieces like this and having to read about Britney showing her cooch off to get attention or Paris' latest brawl.

The only thing I find sad about this is that she is blaming television. I love TV (I love people's ideas) and I don't want people to blame their bad ideas on TV when they should just blame it on themselves: if you can't separate TV from reality, please stop watching it.

Might it have something to do with overbearing celebrity mothers? Lindsay's rapidly-aging mother is a party animal that frequently drinks it up with her daughter. What will affect your life more: TV or the example set by your mom?
Also, her mother is doing her best to keep Lindsay's father out of her life. Is this to control Lindsay in order to control the money she makes?

Lindsay - Anne Hathaway saw the same tv and is an elegant, grounded actress who grew up a responsible young lady making movies that would break the way people thought about party girls and portraying women as beautiful and intelligent. You have that ability too. So don't complain. Judy

Lindsay didn't say "Sex in the City taught her to sleep around with every man she meets." One can tell by the way it's written that this began when some sleeze reporter provided her and her management with an innocent looking poll of questions to which the reporter turned her answers on her making it sound like she's a loose cannon.
Note there are no "quotes" in the piece above, carefully "not" placed, keeping the sleeze reporter and his bosses out of court over a serious and expensive case of libel.
Now I'll admit this little girl has made some errors in judgement in the few years she's been around, but get over it people, she's just "a little girl" with way too much expected of her from a society which demands perfection from its Hollywood "royalty."

Maybe Lindsay just realize she is a slut and she is trying to put the blame on somebody else. Lindsay, Paris and Brittany are sluts and they need to get their butts whoop. I don't agree with a man hitting a woman, but Brittany, Paris and Lindsay are an exception to the rule.
