USA Network continues its foray into original programming, this time around with Burn Notice. The new drama stars Jeffrey Donovan (Touching Evil) as a CIA operative who was recently given his pink slip, or Burn Notice in spy lingo. Once he is let go he uses his Special Ops skills to help others who, for some reason or another, cannot go to the police.
Actors recently added to the cast are Gabrielle Anwar (The Librarian: Return to King Solomon's Mines), Bruce Campbell (The Adventures of Brisco County Jr., Evil Dead), and Sharon Gless (Queer as Folk, Cagney & Lacey). Production on the show will begin next week. No word at this time when it will premiere on USA.

No, sounds more like an updated version of "The Equalizer".

Sounds good. I wanna watch.... If Donovan is the same as lead actor in Touching Evil, I can't wait. I enjoyed both the British and US versions of that show and was sad to see US version go.

Unfortunately Burn Notice has chosen to work with Ellen Jacoby casting in Miami...This woman is a totally unprofessional monster who is constantly cursing , screaming and yelling at anyone who gets in her way or disagrees with her. Alot of people in Miami will not even work on a production that she is associated with . I have worked on the Burn Notice series but my last shoot was a nightmare due to this woman and her unorganized low budget mess. My friends and I walked out on the set because of her. I sure hope Burn Notice realizes what a total B %^#$^# she is and they dump her....

I really enjoy this show, however, I CAN NOT STAND GABRIELLE ANWAR in her role. Everytime I watch the show, I cringe when she appears on the screen. I'm sure that she's a terrific actress, but to me she seems totally mis-cast! She is pretty, but in a 70s sort of way. I dont mean to be harsh, but I find it very hard to believe that the casting director could not find a more appropriate actress for this part. There are many fresh, strong, beautiful, sexy women whom I think would better fit the series.

Good show. A bit of Miami Vice, Bionic Man, MacGyver and the A-Team rolled into one. Refreshing change from most of feminized TV on USA network.
Couple improvements could be introducing some story arcs, get into Mike's military past, and introduce a major villain that Mike does NOT outsmart by the end of the episode. Get more in depth if they want a 2nd season.

The bbest show on t.v. today. Refreshing, I am so sick and tired of law and order and all the the takes off's of this program from S.V.U. to the two new Criminal Intent They are on all the time. I would rather Burn Notice be played at least twice a week. We need a break from S.V.U. and Criminal Intent, second version for sure.
Does Burn Notice only play once a week on Wensday at 11:00 p.m. (thats the only time I can find it on. Any information would be gratefully recieved.
