Who knew that Chris Rock was a psychic? In the video that's embedded after the jump, Rock tours the "Trevor Berbick Studio" during the first episode of his old HBO show, creatively titled The Chris Rock Show. He waxes on about how many historic events the studio has seen during the airing of his show, which, of course, was complete bullcrap. Jokes about him firing his white writing staff because they wanted "to get to know the black experience," and about a Wayans family gathering (a picture of a huge rally in Washington) were funny.
But the best part was when he talked about O.J. Simpson coming in to promote his new video. The title? I Didn't Kill My Wife! (But If I DID, Here's How I'd Do It). Wow. Remember, this was in 1997, nine years before OJ and Judith Regan got the bright idea to do an eventually-kiboshed book and TV special called If I Did It, Here's How it Happened. So either Rock is a soothsayer, like I said, or Simpson and Regan owe him a finder's fee for the idea.

Maybe Simpson just watched the movie and then he decided to write this book? I think he can explain everything

Was the O.J. interview shown anywhere in the country? Has anyone seen it? It was banned here in California. Will there still be a book?

Chris Rock is funny, but; it is coincidental that Orenthal James Simpson would have a reenactment of the murder. In this scenario, life imitates art

OJ is disgusting. I think he did it but to come out and say this is how I would do it...get real. And to think he has children with this woman. Just goes to show, you can take the boy out of the ghetto but you'll never get the ghetto out of the boy.

I find it so hard to believe that the death of two people by murder is something that is the center of jokes and book publishings. What needs to happen here is for someone to prosecute the guy that KILLED two innocent people and stop hiding behind snake lawyers and dummy corporations. He is the "JUICE" alright. Sadly it is the last bit of juice that is seeping of of what is left of the justice tree. Everyone includin g him knows that he killed them. EVERYONE!

Joe, I agree that he got away with murder, but there's a little thing in the United States Constitution called "double-jeopardy". His criminal trial for that crime has already occurred, and he has been acquitted. As a result, he cannot be charged for murder again. Also, since a judgement has been rendered against him in civil court, he cannot be sued again for this crime. About the only possibility left is for the federal government to charge him with violating their civil rights, and that's not very likely.

HMMMM "MARRY HIM YOU FOOL" DO I SENSE A TAD BIT OF PREJUDICE HERE? I AGREE O.J. IS A COMPLETELY DISGUSTING EXCUSE FOR A HUMAN BEING. HOWEVER, THE "GOES TO SHOW YOU CAN TAKE THE BOY OUT OF THE GHETTO BUT YOU CAN'T TAKE THE GHETTO OUT OF THE BOY." QUOTE HIT MY RACIAL SENSIBILITIES WRONG. FIRST OF ALL HIM BEING BORN IN POVERTY IS NOT THE REASON HE'S A HORRIBLE PERSON. THERE ARE MANY HARD WORKING PEOPLE LIVING LIFE IN THE "GHETTO" WHO DESERVE YOUR COMMON COURTESY AND RESPECT. OBVIOUSLY THE MENEDEZ BOYS ARE PROOF POSITIVE THAT MONEY AND STATUS DOES NOT MAKE YOU A WORTHY HUMAN BEING. NOR DO I PERSONALLY BELIEVE YOU WOULD MAKE THE SAME COMMENT ABOUT ROBERT BLAKE AND IF I RECALL CORRECTLY HIS UPBRINGING WAS POOR AS WELL. TO TOP IT OFF I DON'T THINK YOU WOULD EVER REFER TO ROBERT BLAKE AS A "BOY"! FUNNY HOW ONE'S TRUE COLORS SHINE THROUGH ISN'T IT???

Why would any normal person ever think about "how I woulda done it" if they didn't do it to begin with? It just proves that he did think about doing it, because he's still thinking about it now! And that he did make a plan, carry it out, and new he would get away with it because of who he is... He had motive, opportunity and the means to carry out his plans..If he lived in Harlem, and killed his white wife and her lover, the outcome would have been much different.

What is wrong with this man? This was his wife the mother of his children. How in the world can he be so heartless in the matter. Whatever are his intentions it's evil thoughts that should not be given credit or popularity by promoting his ideas, his book, or anything that he comes up with concerning his insane ideas that are just insensitive, mean, and unloving.
He should have his children's best interest at heart.OJ should consider how his children will grow up under this influence. What does his children think of all this insanity? Also, how are the children coping with the murder of their mother and their father's stupidity?

While it is imminent that comedians will take an issue such as this and run with it, there should be grave concern for our judicial system and its failure. Below I will provide two sources of concern that every American should be concerned with. First, O. J. Simpson (whether you like him or hate him, however everybody seemed to like him before this incident), was found NOT GUILTY. Period! Case Closed! Well, almost...Because low and behold we have a new way of defaming a man and it is called Civil Suits and Liability. Despite O. J. being found not guilty he was still sued successfully by the Goldman family and they were awarded damages. So here is the question. What if the shoe was on the other foot? For example, for whatever reason the jury in the criminal case found Simpson not guilty because there was reasonable doubt; and not by just one juror. Suppose the same happened to you only to find out that you were still able to be sued by the families and awarded damages. Forget, the fact that the judge would not allow ANY testimony from the criminal trial to the civil trial. But perhpas what is most interesting to me as a Social Psychologist is this: The verdict read in the criminal and civil trials was found to be appropriate by the majority of African-Americans (I am Caucasion) and the majority of the Caucasions still found (despite the verdict) Simpson to be guilty. While it is reasonable to understand that a jury wanted someone to pay for the gruesome attacks on Nicole and Ron, the fact of the matter is that he was still found NOT GUILTY! End of story! Why is it that we as a society still insist on a verdict going our way despite the insurmountable reasonable doubt presented at the trial? Now the man has struck a book deal and you would swear he is a demon in disguise for him to make the statements he made. Only two conclusions can be extrapolated from this sad seried of events. First, whether you are found guilty or not-guilty in this country our system is flawed because their still exists a large amount of people that believe otherwise. Second, if you are found not guilty just assume your life is over becuase the public will make certain they ignore the verdict and assume you are guilty anyhow. Is he actually guilty and you may be wondering right now, "Could he actually be that stupid to believe in his innocence? The answer is despite my watching the entire trial I am no legal expert and I cannot read Mr. Simpson;s mind. What I can do is provide you with yet another example; Patsy Ramsey who after several years of being accused of a crime it looks as though she did not commit the DNA is showing support for the entire Ramsey family's innocence. Still though, the story still continues ad nauseum. When are we just going to allow these people to live normal lives once again? Oh, I forgot, Patsy Ramsey is dead!

I believe OJ Simpson got away with killing two white people. After he was found innocent, many African Americans rejoiced not because OJ was innocent but because the verdict symbolized payback time for all the innocent African American people murdered or sent to prison at the hands of White people over history. Yet, two wrongs do not make a right, it only adds fuel to conflict rather than peace and OJ was sending more fuel with his book and video.

I really don't know if he did it or not and I am not an O.J. fan. I do know that he was found not guilty. In America that is suppose to mean something. Yet, he is treated like he was foung guilty. He deserves to be left alone to make a living to support his kids (and that includes writing a stupid book)the same as anyone else in this country. Martha Stewart was found guilty and did time in prison (I know she wasn't accused of murdering anybody. When she came out she didn't miss a beat. She is right back on her television show as if nothing ever happened. Why can't the same courtesy be given to O.J.? How many of you are not going to watch a film that has Brad or Angelina in it? They committed adultry and the country acts as if they are the best thing since slice bread. Wrong is wrong and it doesn't make a difference who does it. Let's treat all people the same. Justice was served whether we agree with it or not. Leave O.J. alone.

OJ act has become disturbing because the man is an obvious psycho/sociopath. To act like he's on stage doing a bulging eyes minstreal show each time he resurfaces shows how low he will go for attention. What's really eating at him like a cancer is that he no longer has the adulation and love from white people. He can't accept that white people believe he killed two white people. His pathetic decline is made worst because of how black people continue to support a man who when asked to support black causes during the civil rights era and after. He refused saying he wasn't black he was OJ. He suckered blacks especially black women to rally behind him because getting even with an unjust judicial system was more important. There are many blacks who could use thier kind of support. OJ was not the one to rally behind.

He was found NOT GUILTY because there was an immense miscarriage of justice. HE knows he is guilty and so does most of the rest of the world. His not guilty verdict made a mockery of the judicial system.

OJ Simpson was found not guilty for many reasons but unfortunately it was not because he did not murder two people in cold blood. Any person with half a brain can look at that evidence and see this man is a killer, that jury had a different motive in mind, it was pay back to a corrupt LAPD. The only sad part with that is two people are dead and thier murderer is playing golf and writing horrible books when he should be behind bars for life.

white people get over it. the verdit has been decided. at least he had a trial. i can still remember a case in georgia where a white man killed a 75 year old black man and raped his 7 year old grand-daughter and he was never prosecuted because he was the brother of a white policeman. how many innocent black men has been sent to prison or death by an all white jury. when that happen, you always say, "he was found guilty by a jury. well, this jury has spoken and whether you like it or nor, he was found "not guilty". end of story.

Yes Nicco...you made a few "real" points in you comment to "Marry Him". The sad thing is that we attached stereotypes to just about every person and in every walk in life. Most stereotypes are wrong because they apply to a small percentage of the group of people being talked about. Which still should not be applied to begin with. Everyone on this earth should be treated as an individual. Not what color they are or where they came from. But by their actions and how they contribute to society. Be it good or bad. Because I believe who and what we are comes from more "Who we were raised by and how" not, where we were raised. Though in some (and I say some) WHERE can become a factor.
Now the reason I picked your comment is this. And let me say to you again...you made wonderful points. But if we are to as a society to abolish racialism of any kind, we ourselves, when addressing it, must keep it out of our teaching. Say what you say with love, as a teaching tool to the person you are addressing. But keep your "Racial Sensibilities" out of it. Your comment came across as an angry comment (which I am sure you were) because of the word racial. With out that word in your commentary, it would have be a well played lesson of love to that person. It would have showed someone that the comment that they made was a wrong one. I blame the media for the continued Hatred we have in this world today. Because they keep using that terrible word.....Love your neighbor as I love you...thats what HE said, and we all know who He is love ya...ANNETTE

TO SEE WHAT'S WRONG WITH OUR COUNTRY VIEW ALL OF THESE COMMENTS. HOW CAN A MURDERER BE ALLOWED TO WALK THE STREETS AND HAVE MANY PEOPLE REJOICING THE JURY'S DECISION? I ONLY HOPE THAT THE PEOPLE THAT SET HIM FREE (THE JURY) CAN NOW AT LEAST SEE THE TERRIBLE WRONG THEY HAVE DONE! SHAME, SHAME ON ALL OF YOU!
