Forgive me for being late on this. With Thanksgiving, I didn't get to see Thursday's episode of CSI until Friday night. And, oh my God, was that the worst episode ever or what?!?The episode was about a missing mobster whose car was found 30 years after his death. It starts out with a guy singing karaoke and pushing a wheelchair-bound guy in front of a Hummer. Then three other guys are killed... [*SPOILER ALERT*] by a person who was very obviously wearing different masks. I said, "He's wearing a mask" in the first few frames of the first scene. It took Grissom and the crack team of forensic scientists 50 minutes into the episode to figure it out. Come on! The masks looked horrible. The writers even tried to "trick" us into believing that someone else (the motorcycle cop) might be the man behind the mask. Puh-lease. The only reason I kept watching was because I was hoping that there would be some sort of twist at the end and I would be proven wrong. No such luck. This episode never should've seen the light of day.

We've must have been watching a different show because I thought it was great. Maybe if you guys started reviewing the entire CSI season 7, you'll see that it is 10x better then last season. Plus, if you read the majority of the audience reviews you will see that they disagree with you too...

I have to agree with you, I didn't think much of this episode either. Too me it just didn't flow like it usually does. Next week's or when ever it's on again looks to be much better with the return of the mini crime scene.

I just figured it was an excuse to give Roger Daltrey (lead singer from The Who) a lot of screentime. I mean, didn't they open with him doing karaoke? How awesome was that? Though the first thing I said when I saw him was, "Why is Roger Daltrey wearing so much makeup?"

One thing you didn't noticed, and I watched it twice to be sure, is about the skeleton found in the car. We are shown that the guy has been shot in the head (they even found the bullet in the car) then at the end we have this story about the cop being hit in the chest by Daltrey character! What the hell is going on in CSI lately! Then can someone explain how the mobster getting out of the car wet and injured by a bullet in his chest managed not only to shot the cop but to get the body in the car which was already at the bottom of the lake !?! This episode doesn't make any sense, hopefully they wil get back soon to the real good story, the one we have this season about this guy who build small scale versions of its crime scene. This one is really freaking good.

Whoa, who are you people kidding? Anna is dead-on. This episode was ludicrous. The over-the-top obviousness of the masks destroyed any sense of suspense and ruined any possibility of suspending disbelief in the already preposterous plot.
CSI is at it's best when it focuses on esoteric scientfic minutia and at it's absolute worst when it attempts "clever" plotting -- which never turns out to be clever.

I actually loved the episode. I kinda guessed the ending about 10 minutes in, but that was only because they had made such a big deal about Roger Daltrey being in it. I figured he would have some better scenes that behind a mask. All in all it was one of my favorites of the year.

did you notice that when katherine left the hospital room at the end of the show she left the bullet on the bedside table? no, not the best csi episode. i also thought the roger daltry's make up was terrible.

Obviously you and I watched a totally different episode of CSI because I thought it was a fun episode. Most of the fan reviews on CSI websites also enjoyed the episode. It was a light, holiday episode much like last year's Thanksgiving episode, "Dog Eat Dog." Light on the forensics big on goofy type of humor. BTW, Roger Daltrey's makeup was supposed to looke bad. He wanted to get caught so he could shove it their faces.

Roger Daltrey cannot act - his accent was all over the map - sometimes British, sometimes a cheap imitation of a mobster. Very odd. The makeup and facial appliances were hideously bad. He needs to stick to singing CSI themesongs and leave the acting to those who have studied the craft.
Worst episode ever? I don't know - some of the first season shows were pretty terrible. But this episode was dismal. Jorja Fox was particularly wooden and amateurish in the early shows. She has gotten better, but it was painful to watch her in the early days.
Come to think of it, the rising inflection she uses at the end of statements so frequently now is truly annoying. Lose the affect, Jorja, it doesn't help...

I liked the episode although last week's was better with the twin murders. Of course we have not been able to comment since the reviewer has not reviewed CSI in quite awhile!! CSI is still the best and I praise them for always mixing it up unlike stupid csi:miami.
