Jon Stewart"This Time It's Personnel": Let's break this down... Pelosi Speaker. Hoyer Whip. Murtha not Whip. Got it? Keith Ellison recently became the first Muslim lawmaker in Congress. Some folks in the media didn't even attempt to hide the fact that they're kinda freaked out. Watch this video of CNN Headline News' Glenn Beck be an asshole towards Ellison. It's... pretty wild. General John Abizaid and Senator Hillary Clinton threw around some fancy words to try and put each other down... John Oliver, complete with a smoking jacket and pipe, played the role of the smart British man and explained to Jon what "hortatory talk" meant. He then continued to read his issue of Juggs.

Holy crap, I just totally scared myself. How did I know that the magazine name has two "G"s? I swear I didn't Google it until I was spell-checking. This is probably a bad sign. Gosh. Moving on...

"Networq": Al-Jazeera English is new and out and proud and probably not part of your cable service. I quite liked the picture of Osama bin Laden falling into a fish tank. Wouldn't it be awesome to work at The Daily Show and just Photoshop crap like that all day?

"Ten Fucking Years: Inventions": A great montage of clips from the various Daily Show reports about wacky inventions. I had almost forgotten about Hufu! Thanks for reminding me. The Gaydar report by Stephen Colbert is also a classic.

The night's guest was Nobel Peace Prize winner Professor Muhammad Yunus. I'm no fan of Economics talk (pretty much my least favorite class in high school), but I found the discussion about microcredit to be absolutely fascinating. It was strange to hear about such a good-natured concept. It was even stranger to feel that such a thing should be strange. No "Seat of Heat" for the second night in a row! I really think they've scrapped the segment. This is good news.

Jon/Stephen: Stephen Colbert was a little upset that he didn't have a Jon/Stephen moment in the previous episode. Moment of Zen: President Bush in Singapore, proving to be quite a music wiz. Kind of.

The Daily Show and The Colbert Report are on break next week. Do what I'm going to do for the next few days between 11:00 - midnight, and tape the latest Rolling Stone cover on your television screen.
