"Jack in the Box": Correspondent Jason Jones talked about how Jack Abramoff is going to fare in minimum security prison. Ho-hum. Let's get to the good stuff..."Drown Syndrome": Waterboarding! CNN's Rick "OMG Taser Me!" Sanchez didn't even touch it. The folks over at FOX News tried to give it a go, but it kind of sucked. Senior Interrogation Correspondent Rob Riggle (listed as "Rob", heh) investigated the waterboarding issue from a new angle, in the position of the guy with the black mask and bucket of water. Best line: Regarding the waterboardee... "I lured this guy with a fake Craigslist ad."
"'08 Men Out": I was just reminded of just how big of an annoying bastard Tim Russert can be. He's just so desperate for someone to announce their candidacy on his show.
The night's guest was Ted Koppel, former Nightline host and new Discovery Channel goldenboy (there's a new special coming up... Iran - The Most Dangerous Nation). The interview wasn't very funny (as Koppel pointed out), but it was pretty informative. Koppel threw out a pretty good line about President Bush's upcoming visit to Vietnam: "Thirty-five years ago, he joined the Texas National Guard to stay out of Vietnam... And now, he's going to Vietnam to stay out of Washington." Zinger! No "Seat of Heat". Have they finally let it go?! I sure hope so.
Moment of Zen: Tim Russert was just begging to get a bitch-slap from Condi Rice. I would have done it.

Jon was right, it's very rare for men in black masks to bring you something you like. Did I hear right? Does The Daily Show/Colbert Report have next week off?

What a great episode.
About 5 years ago there was a SNL sketch when Senator McCain hosted which featured Tim Russert twisting words to make it seem as though McCain was going to run for president in '08. If I saw it again, I probably wouldn't realize that it was just a sketch.
