Jaime Pressly, who plays Joy on My Name is Earl, announced her pregnancy last night on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno. She said she is four months along and the baby is a healthy boy. The father is disc jockey Eric Cubiche. The couple has been dating for 18 months.As far as I know, Pressly didn't say whether her pregnancy would be written into Earl (I don't watch Leno). But, it probably wouldn't be too far-fetched for Joy to be pregnant again. Plus, it's going to be super hard to hide her pregnancy since so much of Joy's character is in her tight, slutty costumes.

She said it won't be written into the show. She said they need to wait a few seasons before they do that, when they start running out of ideas.

As a note I don't watch Leno either, but I can't stand impressionists or Kimmell and when Pressly's on something, I stop and watch.

Is she really "braindead"? I've never seen Jaime in anything other than "Earl", but I can't imagine she's too mentally challenged if she can manage to pull off that hilarious character of Joy each week. She's often the funniest thing on the show and my personal vote for "Best Ever Redneck Trailer Trash Character".
