Lost is over until February 7th. Tonight, ABC is filling Lost's time slot with a new series, Day Break. (Think: Groundhog Day meets Die Hard) To keep Lost fans murmuring about the show, the network plans to air teasers from next year's episodes during the entire run of Day Break. But, you don't have to watch Day Break because the 30-second clips will also be available on ABC's Lost webpage every Thursday... and probably all over the internet immediately after they air. The network is also keeping the first six episodes of Lost available on its website for refreshers or in case you want to watch that Sawyer/Kate sex scene again. And to keep fans from bitching about the big, fat hiatus, the network has also started up its own Lost wiki, which it wants fans to create the content.ABC to pacifiy Lost fans during long break

No, dammit! BOOOOOOO! It's bad enough that the show is going on hiatus, why can't they just let us forget that it exists for a little while? Now, instead, we're going to be tormented with crappy little promos that are probably going to make the first episode or two when it comes back feel old or boring.
Sure, it won't be that bad, but I would much rather keep an "out-of-sight, out-of-mind" attitude until it comes back on. Is that so much to ask?

a 30 second teaser clip does not satisfy me until february. try the Battlestar Galactica approach. Take an episode and chop it up into 10 pieces. air it on the web. or better yet, don't have a lengthy hiatus and program properly.

I hate watching previews because they inevitably spoil something I'd rather be surprised about. Now when I want to watch the wonderful Daybreak, I have to worry about being hit with Lost teasers. Shoot, if they run different content each week, they'll have shown over five minutes of the episode by the time all is said and done.

hirosheroes, how exactly would you suggest "proper programming" be?
Do you want it to be like last season of the unpredictable off on off off on on off off off off on off on?
The Fox 24 approach is not always going to work for every show/network/advertiser.
