If you have been following Dancing with the Stars this season you probably know that Mario Lopez emerged as the favorite to win it all early on. He's lived up to that throughout the season, right up until now. As they get ready for the big, three dance, showdown this coming week the odds are changing. With or without the crazy betting, Emmitt as the favorite makes sense to me. It will most likely all come down to the fan vote. I expect that the judges will once again choose to not actually judge the contestants and leave them in a virtual tie where those points are concerned, taking away much of Mario's dance advantage in the process. And when it comes to the fan vote, Emmitt is a very fun loving and charismatic guy. It doesn't hurt that he has former DWTS champ Cheryl as a partner either. I get the feeling that she is much more popular than Karina among fans. Whichever way it goes, the one sure bet in all of this is that the two episodes next week will be huge for ABC.
