Oh snap, y'all. Democrats have taken over Congress. The big screen behind Jon shone blue. Nice touch."Pentagoner": Rob Riggle briefly talked about Donald Rumsfeld's move-out process. As if to answer the question from my last post, Riggle wore a suit jacket. Hm. Anyway, during Rummy's farewell speech, he left America with one last act of condescension, describing the war as misunderstood, as if most Americans (specifically, those that disagree with the war) are too stupid to comprehend what's been going on. Jon threw on a soldier's helmet and met Rummy at Camera Three. Jon's "stupid person" voice was real classy, haha.
"Are You Prepared: To Colonize Space": I guess this won't be a strictly Samantha Bee piece. Jason Jones did another installment of the "Are You Prepared?" series, this time focusing on Stephen Hawking's recent announcement that he believes humans must leave Earth to continue the species. I liked the shitty use of the labels on the Enterprise van and the completely random "Spaaace!" cheerleaders, but the blatantly fake vomit gold old fast. C'mon, Jones, what was that? Cream of Mushroom?
The night's guest was Dustin Hoffman from Stranger Than Fiction. I thought Hoffman was adorable... He was very funny without completely overpowering the interview. His co-star, Emma Thompson, has been making the talk show rounds as well and her interview on Ellen was quite amusing.
Jon/Stephen: Stephen Colbert shared a fun fact about Dustin Hoffman... Did you know that Hoffman was the first choice for the lead in The Graduate? Well, that worked out well. Moment of Zen: Heeey, Bush... If you love Rummy so much, why don't you legalize gay marriage and maaaarry him?

I don't know, I kind of figured Jones's vomit was real...although I guess it was strange that he had enough left in his stomach to throw up so many times, so maybe you're right. Loved how Jon's hair was all mussed up when he took the helmet off to do the "stupid voice" but was suprised he didn't say anything about soap (the long running "dumb is, Oh my god, I just ate soap" thing). Anyway, good job with the summary.
