I love the artist Brandon Bird. Bird's illustrations, which appear regularly in The Believer magazine, and paintings are heavy on the pop culture influence. If you've visited his Webby Award-winning site, than you've probably seen his rendition of Bea Arthur wrestling an underwater dinosaur and his Cubist take on the cast of Family Ties. Bird has used his artist's eye to interpret Seinfeld, Star Trek, Magnum P.I. and even Little House's Michael Landon. His work is always witty, but depending on the piece, it also manages to meld the contents of our mediated brains with Greek mythology, cave paintings and a Hopper-like realism.
Why tell you about Bird today, TV lovers? Well, because his work tends to sell-out, and none of his work sells out more quickly than his Law & Order: SVU Valentine's Day cards. Bird's online shop has recently been updated with a second round of these long unavailable little works of art. What Law & Order fan wouldn't want an Ice-T card or to be told that "you're guilty... of being my Valentine?"

These aren't Valentine's Day cards. He's selling larger prints of the V-Day cards for $25 each.

Couldn't believe that in two of your shows and while interagating suspect used "I can't turn the clock back". Heck, I used this line multi-times with suspects and always seemed to work. 18 yrs. with the Nassau County Police Department as a Dective and 7 as uniform patrol
