Did you watch the premiere of The Rich List, hosted by Eamonn Holmes (pictured), on Fox this week? If you did, you may now be able to tell people that you saw every single episode of the show. I read over on Digital Spy that Fox had pulled the show from the schedule. There hasn't been any official word from the network as to what their plans are for the future of the show. However, given the fact that it no longer appears in the list of shows on the official Fox site, and the page for the show has now disappeared, the chances of a return don't look very good. The quick cancellation, if that's what it turns out to be, surprises me. Did anyone think the numbers were going to be huge when stepping into the middle of the Criminal Minds vs. Lost battle? I did see the show, and while it wasn't anything great, it was in the same ballpark as Deal Or No Deal and 1 vs. 100. I actually preferred the listing aspect to the random guessing of Deal, or the multiple choice questions of 1 vs. 100.

All those ads during baseball playoffs for that show and they air it for a week? That's weird even for FOX. LOL.

Shame it's not been a great success over their because it means that we here in the U.K. will have to put up with the charm free smarmbucket that is Eamonn Holmes on our screens yet again! Truly a revolting TV host if ever there was one!

FOX is replacing THE RICH LIST with an original O.C. this week - a curious notion, given THE O.C.'s complete lack of an audience this week.
In following weeks, they're scheduling encore episodes of BONES. Huh? Why not bring back VANISHED? Or TRADING SPOUSES or NANNY 911? Reruns of BONES?
Love the show, but this is a bad idea.
HAPPY HOUR is also cancelled. Encores (re-runs) of 'TIL DEATH will air in its place.

With House manning Tuesdays now, it's starting to look like Idol is going to move to Wed/Thrs now to make Fox competitive on those days.

If the OC does well on Wed, it will move there supposedly -- so all you fans who once watched -- come back and give it another shot -- it's good again.

"Happy Hour" also appears to be gone from this Thursday's schedule and from the show list on fox.com, and it's a shame that not enough people watched it. I thought "Happy Hour" was one of the funnier new shows this season.

This doesn't suprise me at all with FOX. If you recall back in 1999/2000 when "Greed" with host, Chuck Woolery made it's start to go up against Millionaire, FOX had a chance of facing off with ABC in gameshows. They gave up too quickly.
Now with the situation with Rich List going against Deal or No Deal and 1 vs 100, It had equal chance of going up against the shows IF and on IF they actually ran it against the program schedule, so maybe a Monday night or a Thursday night would have been a better move than to go against cop and lost night vs CBS and ABC. But overall, I say that when Fox has a good gameshow, they pull it from the air. That's why in about nearly 7 years, I've watched the network probably about a total of 8 hours. I really cannot stand FOX for it's lamebrain decisions in programming.

I missed the show on purpose since i'm not a reality show/gameshow person but I don't even think FOX knows what they are doing. Earlier today during American Dad i seen the Special O.C. commerical on Wednesday but then two hours later i seen a commercial promoting the next episode of the rich list.
Planet of the Apes wasn't just remade by FOX the apes are running FOX.

I saw the show and thought it was awesome! Reminded me of the board game "Scattergories". If Fox did pull it, they did so too soon I think.

THE SHOW WOULD NOT HAVE BEEN SUCH A FAILURE IF THEY DIDN'T HAVE THAT SISSY GAY MAN ON THERE IN HIS PINK SHIRT. WE HAVE TO PUT UP WITH GAY KRAP EVERYWHERE SO I'M SURE A LOT OF PEOPLE TURNED IT OFF BECAUSE OF THAT.

They need to bring back the show! I thought it was much much more exiting than Deal or No Deal! This show was different in such a way that it was REFRESHING! It wasnt as if there was a right or wring answer to the question! I think it would be a BIG sucsess! Bring it Back!!

I was actually a contestant on "The Rich List" back in early September and a lot of people won a lot of money (there were 6 episodes filmed) on it. Unfortunately I was not one of them. However, I was looking forward to seeing myself on TV this fall. Now, unfortunately, I have to settle on the 2 seconds that I'm on during the opening sequence of the show that I recorded on the DVR. You would think with the amount of money that FOX spent on production and prizes that they would at least air the remaining episodes.
The irony of the pilot episode (which until it aired I had not seen as contestants were sequestered) is that every topic (except the one about major U.S. newspapers) was a topic that I studied for intensely in the days leading up to the taping of the show and when it was my turn I wound up getting 3 topics that I was unprepared for.
C'est la vie, I suppose. Honestly, I'm more upset with "Justice" being cancelled than "The Rich List."

I couldn't figure out what was going on. I thought I was just not getting the night the show was on right. What a surprise. Talk about not being behind a project. Fox is screwed up.

This was a great show! It's much more satisfying than the 1 in 3 guessing of "1 vs. 100" or the complete random chance of the vile "Deal Or No Deal". It's so infuriating with Fox - with every great success ("House", "American Idol", "The Simpsons"), the network has just as many stiffs or shows it pulls the plug on too soon. (Don't even get me started on its atrocious MLB coverage.) Too bad - I thought this was a fun show that for once actually required a brain to watch. I would have liked to audition for it.

I saw 'The Rich List' on November 1st. I thought it was the best game show I have ever seen. The audience was able to play along with all of the list. I also liked that fact that you were paired with a partner you did not know and had never met. I told several people about it and they were all disappointed when they were not able to find it on November 8th.

I was excited when I saw the show. I even played the game with my husband. We would pause the show to see who could answer more questions. I think fox made a big mistake by taking the show off the air. You need to rethink this.
