To quote Homer Simpson, it's funny because it's true.
Bill O'Reilly tells The New York Post that David Letterman calls the FOX talk show host a "bonehead" on tomorrow night's show (Letterman tapes his Friday night shows earlier in the week). And this isn't the first time that the two have butted heads. The same thing happened the last time O'Reilly was on the show, when Letterman said that he thought 60% of everything O'Reilly says is "crap."
And it's not really a joke or something they planned ahead of time. O'Reilly says that he believes that Letterman "sincerely doesn't like me."

Letterman just ISNT funny. He just comes across as a bitter , washed up jerk doing the same tired schtik. The last time Letterman was funny was his last 6 months on NBC. Then as soon as Dave went to CBS he just lost "it". Luckily, Conan has found "it" and wont lose it when he takes over for Leno.

David Letterman humor is now as stale as last week's/year's bread. And Bill O'Reilly is indeed a bonehead. Jay Leno's time has come and gone and his same old bits are so boring. Conan is so creative, he's paid his dues, can't wait to see him earlier in the evening when he takes over for Leno.

Why do late night shows have to have politicians or pundits on its shows? It really is a buzzkill. If I ever go to a late night show that has a politician or political pundit on, I'll cry.

Jon Stewart does good with political guests. Although, that is his whole niche.
What's even funnier, O'Reily, before what Letterman said about him, said something about Letterman being a good judge of charector, and is usually able to tell when people are BSing

I can see how that would be true. I sincerely don't like O'Reilly, either.

Someone sincerely doesn't like Bill O'Reilly? Wow, that's like someone sincerely not liking drinking Kool Aid. It's not good any way, and it's really bad for you even if you do happen to enjoy it. Why that man is #1 in cable 'news,' I'll never know.

My guess would be it's because he's a media whore.
