According to Dylan Stableford over at FishbowlNY, Rachael Ray announced to a magazine conference in Phoenix that she is going to open a "burger joint" in New York, where she will create a rotating menu based on 190 different burger recipies she's devised over the years. She won't just be making hamburgers, though; she'll put anything that can be made into a burger onto the menu, from turkey to swordfish. She also plans to make a fast-food version of the restaurant, which I'm sure will be franchised throughout the country.So... she's got a magazine. Three Food TV shows. Cookbooks. A syndicated talk show. A soundtrack album. And now she's going to be a fast-food mogul. I think I know why I tune into her talk show every so often... I'm waiting to see her head explode.

I don't dislike her, I just can't understand the huge attraction/q-factor/etc concerning her.
I figure she's doing all this now because she realizes fame is fleeting so she might as well sock away one hell of a nest egg while she can.

Rachael- Be sure to include some vegetarian and VEGAN options in there! That's the trend. We're eating healthier and there are not enough fast food places out there that understand that.

I watch your cooking TV show. You do very well. I am on a diet and like to see more diet meals with good
nutrition. Did you ever try to be a talk show host. You know how to talk to your audience. Good Luck. Congrates to your recent marriage. God Bless

I love her she's awesome, and she didn't always have it this easy. Anyone read her Bio????There is alot of animosity toward her because she never went to culinary school. Other professionally-trained chefs hate her because she has accomplished in just about 9 years what they are still trying to after 19....I think it's great! She also have a line of knives and cookware and even food supplies with her name on them..along with her four shows(3 of which are NOTIONALLY SYNDICATED) she has a magazine, 11 cookbooks and now this restaraunt..I'll be sure to eat there.

I just like her food network shows, 30 minute meals & $40 a day...I didn't like her talk show and now she is coming out way to much. I like her, but to much can turn you away.

Rachael motivates me every day to cook something healthy and fun for my family. Her energy is infectious and she deserves every ounce of praise and fame she receives. I just hope she doesn't burn out from over-doing it as she is juggling a whole lot in her life. Carry on, Rachael. I love you :)

Rachel Ray is the bomb!!! Love her "30 Minute Meals" on Food Network. BUT, she is getting larger with each passing show. I mean, come on girl, get a personal trainer, purge after each meal, maybe during the commercials, or at least share more of your meals with the audiences.

I find her so damm annoying now with the magazine, tv show and her cooking shows. I use to like to watch 30 minute meals but find her recipes very unhealthy with all the cheese and butter, etc.

Good grief. I don't find her the slightest bit entertaining or amusing. She is loud, irritating and mediocre beyond belief. She panders to the masses and her recipes are not at all appetizing.

She seems to be a real nice and out going person, but it is really anoring how she always hells and runs out of breath like she is crazy. Also, who in a normal family life style cooks the stuff she cooks. Most familys cook normal steaks, meat loaf, etc. The only people that cook the stuff she makes are high rollers. Give me a break!

I think she is dynamic....I am impressed with her down to earth attitude. I think that a move to the fast food business can only set the pace for other women to stand up and grab a bit of the action
