On the heels of news that both 7th Heaven and The Game were given full season orders comes news that CBS' Shark, with James Woods as a hotshot lawyer, has been given a full season as well. The most recent episode got the series best ratings yet.
This reminded me that CBS only put four new shows on their lineup this fall. Jericho and Shark have gotten full season orders, nothing has been said about The Class yet, and Smith was canceled only after a few episodes.

Good. This show may be losing a good portion of CSI's viewership right now, but I think if CBS sticks with it they'll have a hit on their hands independent of what leads into it. Any show with James Woods as a leading man deserves respect.

YEA!!! I'm ecstatic, as I know many others will be. Last week I had said I was hoping this show would be picked up for a full season, so I couldn't be happier. It's the one new show I never miss. Surely it will gather steam as it's given more time to gather an even larger audience. James Woods is leading a good supporting cast. What could be better?

I am thrilled that this show was given the go ahead for a full season. It is much better than most of the inane junk on tv. James Woods is outstanding, as usual. I feel that he and the daughter have a great chemistry, and I look forward to seeing their interaction as much as I enjoy the courtroom drama. Thank goodness that someone at CBS has good sense!

What's up with James Woods' makeup! I think the show is 'forced' (well, it is CBS, but I do enjoy other 'forced' shows on CBS, just not this one). Too bad, I've always enjoyed James Woods (before his Tammy Faye foundation of course). I'd give it another chance if both the script and makeup were more natural though.
