I wouldn't buy these DVDs, but if I was Baywatch fan, I'd be kinda ticked.
There are two different Baywatch sets coming out in the next few weeks, but according to TVShowsonDVD, the sets will not only be missing a couple of episodes (including "Nightmare Bay" and another ep that marked Pamela Anderson's first appearance), but the theme song will be different! Other music might be replaced too, but no official word on that yet.
The reason why those two episodes won't be seen is because another company owns the rights to them. I have no idea how one company owns the rights to two episodes of Baywatch and another company owns the rights to the gazillion others, but there you go.

Thats a very bizarre thing. Changing the theme song? WTF? Why bother with the sets when they can't do it right. I was actually gonna buy them (they're cheap!) because watching those gals everyday used to be what forced me to exercise. Show went off the air, I gained weight. I NEED them intact, dammit!

My money says Hasselhoff (the theme's singer) wanted too much money.
And NBC originally aired Baywatch but dropped it quickly. Perhaps that's the snag?

I bet they sold those 2 episodes to another company for a best-of-DVD, thats usually how that happens (especially considering 1 is Pams first ep).

Changing the theme song is horrible! Almost as horrible as the show was!

Hasselhoff only sang the end title theme, the shows theme itself was sung by various artists over the years.
And if someone really wants the series complete he should be getting the R2 german dvds instead, as they feature all episodes as well as all the music.
