It is indeed a sad day, fellow fans of Wonder Showzen. In an interview with Radar, show creators Vernon Chatman and John Lee have said that MTV2 has still given no official word on whether their subversive, blood-soaked, drug-addled tribute to children's shows will return for a third season. Currently, Lee says the answer is about "ninety percent 'no'" as to whether or not the show will return.
As is the case with most shows that includes kids dressed up as a dead Pope, dozens of scenes segmented on the screen and played simultaneously, a dog pulling a baby from a pregnant woman's womb while she's being killed in an electric chair and puppets dry humping the Bible, Wonder Showzen had a devoted fanbase but never got the ratings that would make a network want to keep it around. It's not much consolation, but the second season does come out on DVD today, so you can always pop it into the ol' DVD player and remember the good times. Also, the brains at Adult Swim have expressed their love for Wonder Showzen, so maybe there's still a small glimmer of hope for the show after all. Keep the faith, brothers and sisters.

Wonder Showzen is BRILLIANT! If it gets cancelled, I will strangle this poor defenseless duck (named MacTavish). MTV doesn't want the death of MacTavish on its head, does it?

Wonder Showzen was the kind of show that made you really curious the first five minutes, laugh hysterically for the next 10 and then, halfway through, wonder why these people hate children so much......

Honestly I never understood how Wonder Showzen made it on MTV2 anyways. It's plagued with whored out garbage and the banal comedy stylings of Andy Milonakis. In an interview, the creators were always stating how they would fight to get shit on the air.
If they move to Adult Swim, the wild and distorted humor can continue. Even though I am saddened by the loss, I have hope that Adult Swim will take the rains and give this show it's rightful place.

Why dear god, why.... Wonder Showzen is so amazingly good. I was visiting my local college for a film festival just today, and told everyone with me to buy season 2, which i saw in the bookstore. This show is so good. Now everyone go on iTunes and buy it right now!

When I mentioned this over at wonder-showzen.com's message board, someone shot back with this URL: http://wondershowzenrules.mtv2.com. There's mention of a Season 3 DVD in there. Nothing confirming that it will happen, but suggesting that perhaps there does exist that slim chance.

i will miss this show! i really like it cuz of the blue puppet clarence lmao!! i like when the people gets piss off at him. The last episode of season 2 at the end was hillarious..when people was running away from him lmao!....i hope he gets his own show! i will def. watch that.
