Here's a bit o' fun for your Sunday. I don't know how long it's been around, but I recently found the Dead Celebrity Soulmate search on the Biography Web site. You select the qualities you want in a dead lover, and the program matches you with the perfect deceased mate. One of the women it matched me with was painter Frida Kahlo. Lord knows I'm a sucker for artistic chicks with a unibrow. If I were gay, it would have matched me up with Edgar Allan Poe or Vincent Van Gogh. Either way it looks like I have a thing for artistic types. Apparently this transcends my sexual preference. I hope we all learned something about me today. Anyway, try it out and let me know who the dead love of your life is in the comments. Just stay away from Frida, she's mine.Related:

Well, it seem that Edgar Allen Poe is fickle, he came on to me. But, my choice was Poncho Villa, love them sweaty and a bit of a bad boy. Nothing is more of a turn on, when they burn down a village for you.

Hmmm. Rudolph Valentino, Leonardo Da Vinci, or Vincent Van Gogh. Seems that I'm great for men who are...troubled.
No news flash there.

I got these three Rudolph Valentino, Leonardo Da Vinci, or Vincent Van Gogh. That was really neat. I think I like Valentino the best though.

I prefer the great stars of the 40s and 50s; Gary Cooper, Robert Taylor, Clark Gable, which today would be politically men.
Whatever happened to real men?

What a crock this is! The worst part is choosing a body type. Sorry, but when choosing femine features I look along the lines of "Voluptous," "Buxom", "Curvy", "Petite," etc... How in the hell do you pick a preference in the area of female anatomy when the choices are limited to "short and muscular," "tall and lanky", "frumpy", and "big"? Sounds more like a description of the Oakland Raiders' punt coverage squad. Thanks for getting my hopes up that I might actually find a nice dead gal to settle down on my island whose interests tilt to family, fine arts, public disturbances, drinking and smoking, self-reflection and writing. It turns out I'm stuck with overzealous elfish gun nuts, frumpy communists, or ruthless, stocky, illegitimate daughters of the Vatican. Oh, well, I know she's out there. somewhere. And I'm gonna find her before she's dead -- no thanks to y'all.
