When I saw the screener of Tina Fey's new show, 30 Rock, I was lukewarm on it. But, I keep finding myself chuckling at all the promos with Alec Baldwin and Tracy Morgan. I even stop the TiVo when it's fast-forwarding so I can watch a 30 Rock promo! I think what I like about the threesome is that Tina Fey seems to be the only person rooted in reality and she's working with crazy actor-types Baldwin and Morgan.In addition to the television spots, 30 Rock also has created ridiculous movie posters for Tracy Morgan's character, big time movie star Tracy Jordan. I love the tagline for Black Cop White Cop, "One does the duty, the other gets the booty." The other fake poster is for Who dat Ninga? Both movie posters are after the jump.
Honestly... it all makes me want to watch the show. And I probably will because of the marketing. What marketing is working on you?

in other news, has anyone seen the commercials for the SNL premier with Dane cook and the Killers? and they're talking about "is this the show with alec baldwin?" and at the end Dane Cook is like "This is the REAL SNL"
you have to see it, it's a lot funnier than when I tell it. lol

I downloaded the 30 Rock trailer on Xbox Live Marketplace and honestly I got like 5 or 6 genuine belly laughs from it. I'll be TiVo'ing this one with a season pass. I've heard bad things about Twenty Good Years but the TiVo preview of the show looks pretty funny too. So I'll probably watch that hour.

The promos are great, but really I love Tina Fey enough that I would fully watch anyway. I don't watch enough other tv to see prommos on tv, and I rarely seek them out online.
