Sorry, Crossing Jordan fans. NBC has pushed back the season premiere, in favor of a new game show hosted by Bob Saget. The game show is called 1 vs 100 and it's a game where one contestant battles 100 other people to win $1 million. It's the American version of a game show that is already popular in Europe. The series premiere is at 8 pm on October 20th, as a lead-in to the season premiere of Las Vegas.NBC hasn't announced a new premiere date for Crossing Jordan.

I'm hopeing this means they bring back the show after football on Sundays. With out Grey's Anotomy on I think CJ would do well then. Other wise I don't see this season getting off at all.

Wasn't Crossing averaging more than 14 mil viewers last season against greys. Whats the deal they need to bump other shows like Kidnapped or something instead of Crossing.

Tony, my guess is that they're preparing Crossing for another timeslot to replace an underperforming show. With Kidnapped's poor ratings, they might try slipping Crossing into that timeslot very soon. (Or return Law & Order to its old timeslot and replace its Friday slot with Crossing.) Then again, who knows? The Networks do things that we mere mortals rarely understand.

I'VE BEEN WAITING FOR CROSSING JORDAN TO PREMIERE. I HARDLY WATCH ANYTHING ANYMORE, BECAUSE IT IS ALL ABOUT BANK ROBBERY AND KIDNAPPING. LIKE WE HAVEN'T LIVED THROUGH ENOUGH OF THAT IN AMERICA. BRING BACK INTERESTING SHOWS. DON'T SHOW US HOW TO ROB A BANK OR KIDNAP A PERSON, PLEASE.

UGGGGHHHH!!! I'm so frustrated!! I had this on my calendar months ago!! I agree with the rest of the comments. I couldn't care a flying FIG about Bob Saggett's new game show, I don't need to see kidnapping, since I have young kids, or how to be a criminal, and I don't watch Grey's. Jordan isn't even rerun on A&E anymore. What's the deal!!??? Oh, and btw, whoever decided to guest Woody on Las Vegas (Wed PST) with the complete dork / jerk attitude needs to be knocked into next week. He was completely out of his character, and very UNlikeable. I wasn't even convinced it was Woody, until Sam called him Woody. I still want Jordan and Woody to get something going - but I'm probably just dreaming on that on. I am truly disappointed, and I wish NBC would LISTEN to it's viewers.

I wish they would put CJ on Monday nights at 10 instead of Kidnapped. Actually, just bring CJ back anytime so I can see it soon. I am dying to find out how they will resolve last season's ending.

Crossing Jordan is, to me, one of the network's most underappreciated shows. It's a really good show buried in an awful timeslot and gets absolutely no promotion from the network. I haven't seen an ad - TV, print or otherwise - for Crossing Jordan in well over a calendar year.
Honestly, its stupid things like this - the failure to cultivate shows with followings instead of attempting to catch lightning in a bottle and failing (see Studio 60) - that leads to a network having to trim $750M in costs. And now, because game shows are cheaper to make, they have a ready-made excuse for punting good shows off the air. It's almost like a self-fulfilling prophecy.

I know that reality TV is the newest thing but come on there are some people who still enjoy fiction from time to time and if you can take off crossing jordan for a game show there is something terribly wrong with that especially since you still have ER on don't get me wrong i love ER but the things that are happening on that show are becomming a little far fetched at on Jordan they haven't got to that point yet and pushing it back for a game show that is just down right stupid if you ask me i mean i don't think a game show that comes on at 10:00 at night is going to attract that many people it's a game show don't have a whole channel dedicated to game shows that is where it needs to be i hope i didn't offend anyone it's just my opinion however my husband also has the same opinion as i do for that matter jordan is about the only show he has liked for a long time and it's one we can agree on

I was looking forward to the season premier of Crossing Jordon last weekend, because like everyone else here,i wanted to see how last seasons cliff hanger would be resolved?? I also think it's stupid to delay the fall season for another dumb game show, because there are enough of them on TV now. NBC Give us a break. Bring back Crossing Jordon now,or i will watch another channel or my DVD's but will not waste my times watching your game shows.

Just found this site after searching to see if and when Crossing Jordan was coming back on. My daughter, sister and I were talking about it a couple nites ago and couldn't understand why this show wasn't hack on. I think they are losing a lot of viewers too by not having it on now. Sunday is a great nite for show since I don't have something to do that nite usually.
