I have no idea why TVSquad ignores MI-5 on A&E at 11, but it's third season started last week and the show is as good as ever (trivia: House's Hugh Laurie appeared on a few episodes, snarky as ever but British!). It's a BBC spy thriller about the war on terrorism and miles more realistic than 24. And a whole lot better than Take Home Chef or Ghost Whisperer.

I watched the season premiere of Ghost Whisperer, but I have to say the writing is really disappointing me. It's just so......childish in so many ways.
When you compare a similar show, Medium, to Ghost Whisperer, the comparison is completely clear as to which is the better show, with better writing, better acting, and smarter dialogue. Whether it's because Medium has an experienced production crew behind it or simply because the difference is the two hours from the "famil-friendly" 8:00 spot to the more adult 10:00 spot, I don't think I will miss Ghost Whisperer when it gets canned. On the other hand, I'm already missing Medium, which won't be available til mid-season. Oh well--I guess I'll just have to wait.
