If you've been playing along at home, you will recall earlier this month that Anna posted about Edward Furlong getting a recurring gig on CSI:NY. Now comes word that the star of Pecker and T2 might be joining the ranks of the jedi. In an interview with TV Guide's Michael Ausiello, Furlong described his upcoming schedule as, "Some CSI, and then maybe the Star Wars TV series, man." Like this rumor, many of the details of the Star Wars series are full of ifs, buts, and maybes. At this point, what we believe is that the show is gearing for a 2008 premiere and will take place in the 19 year span between Revenge of the Sith and A New Hope. The focus will shift away from the characters that were prominent in the movies to follow the stories of minor characters from the greater Star Wars universe. Although, George Lucas has said that there may be some main characters from the movies making cameo appearances.

A reader sent that bit of scoop into Ausiello's column, he didn't interview with him.
Let's not give Ausiello a bigger head than he's already got? ;)
