What is with the courts on this?? As if Dog needed to be leg-shackled when he was first in court, as if he needs to be given a tracker, I have no clue why the courts are acting like this when this has to be one of the most recognizable men in Hawaii. It's not exactly like he's a flight risk.

I forgot to mention one thing in my last reply. If we had 1000 more of the "Dogs" and believe me there is only one of them now. We, as a country of the U.S. could help more of our criminals. Think about what you are doing to this man and his son's? Leland, Duane and Duane Jr. What is, and what was their job? I love them all. Thanks guys for what you have done for Hawaii. I wish I could live there and work for people like you. My other concern is for Beth and the kids. I hope and pray that you come through this. Take care of "Big Daddy" and his son's. I know you can do it. You always have a friend in me.

That is so cool!!! That these guys are probably going to jail. I hate the bounty hunter system, where these men can act outside the law, and basically can do whatever they want. They should be federal agents with federal laws and regulations regarding their behavior. Hopefully this fucktard will get the book thrown at him, and be an example for the rest.

Doug - There is a difference between "law" and "justice". Why not go ask the victims of the rapist what they think of what Dog did. Why were the Mexican authorities not doing anything about him being in their country? So for getting a serial rapist locked up, Dog faces jail time...yeah, that seems fair.

Joey - Ok, I'll let you pay the salaries of all those federal agents it'll take to replace the bounty hunters. Oh wait, you don't want to? Guess we'll just have that many more criminals on the streets.

In the original story, I believe that Luster had created a "new identity" and was living in Mexico. The first question that came to mind was: how can they be charged and arrested for taking a "non-person" into custody? That person i.e. Andrew Luster, AKA "Juan Valdes"?? doesn't exist right. So how can they be charged. To admit that they knew of Luster's hi-jinx would be an indictment of their own judicial system.

I am 100% for Dog, Leland & Tim! They took a horrible person off the streets.....had to go to mexico to do it, but, they still did it! I have not heard anything about them hurting anybody while they took that sorry POS to the states.....so what the hell is the big freakin deal about them "bounty hunting" over there? Dog, Leland, Tim & their families are GREAT people that have helped so many people! I think the Mexican government is just pissed that they did not get the glory of capturing the POS loser on their own! I hope that our country backs the Chapman's!

As for those who want to see bad things happen to the Chapmans.......you are jealous and hatefull people. & don't know good people when you see them!

I can't wait to see them get through this without going back to Mexico!!! GOOD LUCK GUYS! WE LOVE YOU!

Governor wrote back and said we should all call the US Marshall's office to raise hell..here is her email and the phone number to call...202-307-9065

Let's all call and yell bloody murder to the US Marshal's office and demand justice for the Dog!!

I would really like to know How the Mexican Goverment can control what happens in The united States, concerning Three of our American Citizens.I am really angry that they can have our citizens arrested, and face extradiction for Taking a piece of crap Like Andrew Luster off the streets.Mexico would do well to mind their own Damn business, they send their lunatics, drug dealers, rapist, child molesters, and woman killers to the united States.Our country is being sold down the river to all these foreign Countries. Really now. Duane is a man with a heart of gold. and to the one whoo said he was holier that thou, i have a few words for you. He alwasy talks about his mistakes. a person with a holier that thou attitude would pass the buck before admitting wrong doing. Dog has alwasy admitted his mistakes so that is an unfair judgement. I am glad that he does what he does. We need many more like him. Lets all stand behind him with support. HE DOES NOT IN THE LEAST DESERVE THIS KIND OF TREATMENT. What the hell!! Mexico can't control thier problems and now we are bowing to them! At what point did the U.S. agoverment get into protecting rapists? When did we start kissing their latino asses? Why did we treat a person this way, that was just doing his job? Why do we care if bounty hunting is illegal in faglexico? This criminal was a fugitive from American justice so we sent a American to get him. We should have gave him a fat check for doing what our goverment could not! Our goverment sends covert off "off the clock" men in to lots of places all the time to take care of buisness they desire not to deal with. The bigger picture here is that a man was removed from the system of being a fugitive. Who the hell cares how it happened. Why is the USA "cowering" to Mexico? WHY? Dog got a RAPIST and MUDERER off the streets. Who cares that it was in Mexico. HE DID THE RIGHT THING. The man he captured, Lester, was an American citizen, who wrote in his diaries that he intended to come back to the USA , to get revenge. Yet, dog is being punished for prtotecting us all. FREE dog. I wonder if the Mexican Government does as much about keeping their own kind if their own country as they do about trying to get Dog back? They should worry more about the coke and pot being moved around their country. They'll let people come in and buy illegal drugs that kill thousands, but they don't want Dog to come in and take back a serial rapist? Maybe we can buy Dogs freedom with a few tacos.
