MSNBC just this afternoon broke the news that Duane "Dog" Chapman, star of the Dog the Bounty Hunter reality show on A&E, was arrested in at his home by United States Marshals for an extradition hearing to Mexico. Mexican authorities are requesting that Chapman be extradited for kidnapping charges related to Chapman's capture of Andrew Luster.[Update: Chapman, his brother, Tim, and son, Leland were apprehended
Luster is a Max Factor heir, and when Dog first caught him in 2003, Dog spent three days in a Mexican jail over the incident. Dog the Bounty Hunter was in the midst of producing its fourth season during this most recent arrest. Luster is currently serving time on three rape convictions.]

BECAUSE THIS MAN THAT RAPED THESE GIRLS SHOULD BE DELT WITH AND DOG TOOK CARE OF IT . HE WAS DOING WHAT THE LAW SHOULD OF DONE BEFORE HE DONE WHAT HE DONE . WRONG OR WRITE.

This is the most messed up thing! I couldn't believe that this had happenned when I first here about the arrests! They should be thanking him for doing a job the police obviously failed at!!! As a woman I am truely grateful for Dog and his team tireless efforts and successful capture. It because of him that we as women can begin to feel safer knowing the people like Dog and his Team are out there trying to protect us. My heart is heavy at the thought that he could be serving time for such a selfless and heroic act. The American justice system has fail us first by letting Luster out of their sight for a moment, and then by allowing Dog, Leland and Time to be charged for bring this maniac back to justice. My heart goes out to Dog and his family, and all the woman who were destroyed by Luster's sick and twisted actions. Let's hope that justice prevails.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you dog and beth and crew! We want intercession so you three will not have to spend that time in a Mexican Jail. Signed the petition, sent the letters showing the big fact: when dog and crew went to peurto villarta in june of 2003, the first thing they did was contact the mexican police and ask about the procedure for picking up andrew luster.
They were told to come by the police station and an officer was given to them to assist. Why didn't this
officer tell the crew that it was against mexican law to bounty hunt there? Because it was not! I believe that this is a set up and is about money and politics!
Now, they demand extradition for dog, leland and tim to serve time in mexican jail, when they will not extradite the cop killer from cali who shot 2 police officers, one in the back of head point blank range. They have rejected all our extradition requests under the so called treaty and we should should do the same,
starting with Dog and Leland and Tim. God Bless you guys, you are our heros and may God intercede if its his will.

Dog is getting a lot of grief for taking filth off the streets. His son, Leland, is also getting the bad end of the stick. In colorado they were looking for a man at the aztec motel and the owner came outside and provoked and threw the first punch at leland, who is a CAGE FIGHTER. the dumbass owner got what he deserved. As far as mexico, WHEN DID THEY START CARING ABOUT PEOPLE BREAKING THE LAW IN THEIR COUNTRY ANYWAY? All the Dog did was remove a man with no courage and no soul and put him where he belongs behind bars. The mexican authorities wouldn't have done a damn thing. Let it be known i am not the only G.I. who would take a bullett for the DOG.

You must READ the last line................
Very Interesting.
1. If you migrate to this country, you must speak the native language
2. You have to be a professional or an investor. No unskilled workers allowed.
3. There will be no special bilingual programs in the schools, no special ballots for elections, all government business will be conducted in our language.
4. Foreigners will NOT have the right to vote no matter how long they are here.
5. Foreigners will NEVER be able to hold political office.
6. Foreigners will not be a burden to the taxpayers.
No welfare, no food stamps, no health care, or other government assistance programs.
7. Foreigners can invest in this country, but it must be an
amount equal to 40,000 times the daily minimum wage.
8. If foreigners do come and want to buy land that will be okay, BUT options will be restricted. You are not allowed waterfront property. That is reserved for citizens naturally born into this country.
9. Foreigners may not protest; no demonstrations, no waving a foreign flag, no political organizing, no bad-mouthing our president or his policies, if you do you will be sent home.
10.If you do come to this country illegally, you will be hunted down and sent straight to jail.
Harsh, you say?
The above laws happen to be the immigration laws
of MEXICO!
WHY DOESN'T THE U.S.A HAVE THE SAME

Simply put Luster was ileagly in mexico in the first place. So how is retriving somewon from Mexcio of whome they didn't leagly know was there in the first place be a chargeable affence? That would mean there chargeing the Dog for retriving somewone they didn't leagly acnowlage. So if he wasn't legaly there how can the charge be valad? It should only apply to legal residence and visitors.

As a reply to # 7. If a mexican, chinese, or any other bounty hunter came to America to arrest a violent serial rapist, such as Luster, than I would be more than happy for them to come and get them. Even if it meant breaking a few laws. it not only would save us, who pay taxes money, but it would also keep others safe.
To the person who said it was up to the Mexican government to keep their people safe- you must not be a human. keeping people safe should not be up to a crappy government. And letting other females get raped because it is up to their government is the most insane thing i have heard. this should not matter, but what if he met an american female on vacation? He was staying in a popular vacation spot!
And to everybody who says he jumped bail & said he deserves to go back- get your facts straight before you start writing stuff you obviously have no clue about. When Dog found Luster, they had a policia' escort with them!! they found him at a taco stand & the policia' pulled up first, with Dog! How come that policia' did not tell Dog that he was unable to arrest Luster? Second, A JUDGE TOLD Dog & his crew that as long as they NEVER returned to Mexico they would be fine! Now that was a Mexican judge!
Dog, Tim & Leland spent 7 days in jail, they should get time served! Besides bounty hunting in Mexico is a very minor offense!
And one more insight i would like to add, bounty hunting is illegal in mexico, but doesn't the word "bounty" mean some type of payment? Dog, Tim, & Leland received NOTHING, but 7 days in jail. So they were not "bounty" hunting, they were simply returning a violent criminal to the U.S. - so Luster could be in jail where he belongs!!!
If we did not watch out for each other this would be a sad, sad, sad, sad, sad, sad, sad, sad, sad, sad WORLD. Don't leave everything up to the next person to take care of, you never know when you or your family will need a favor in return!

And one more thing- to the same people, opening your mouth when you don't know the facts. You think Dog did it because of A&E!?!?!?! He did not have his A&E show when this happened- And why would you think he would spend sooooooo much of his OWN money to find Luster? because he cares!!! He caes obviously soooo much more than some of the people on here!
i can't even imagine how scared the girls were, that this monster violated!!! Plus they found a journal of Lusters, in Mexico, that said he was planning to come back to the U.S. a seek revenge on those poor girls for testifying against him!!!

I fully agree with the Dog getting the rapist off of the streets, but did he or did he not know that bounty hunting in Mexico was not illegal? Could he have went to the Mexican authorities and got special permission to be there and to bring Luster back to the States. And here is another thought How many women in Mexico did he rape????????

HERE IS A LETTER YOU CAN USE, AS WELL AS THERE BEING ONE ON THE FIRST LINK MENTIONED IN THIS POST
I as an American am terrified. I do not understand why our country the Land of the Free, is complying with anything the Mexican government requests. I am ashamed to be an American today! Something must be done to retain the trust and faith in the US Government.
These three individual’s, Duane Dog Chapman, Leland Chapman and Tim Youngblood Chapman; they went and captured Andrew Luster who brutally raped many women in the United States, they gave relief to many women knowing that because of Dog and his Crew that America would be safe of Luster’s rage against women.
Now they are facing extradition to Mexico on charges of Restraint of an Individuals Liberties, according to Mexican officials. The penalty for this charge; 6 months to 4 years, which can include torture and possible death. Luster is now serving 124 years for 86 counts of brutal rape, who knows how many women he raped while on the run in Mexico. Luster was convicted and indicted in absentia as he had already fled to Mexico. Why wasn't Luster's passport confiscated and he given house arrest and a monitoring device (at the very least) yet Dog was not given as much respect as a brutal rapist.
We must protect American citizens from such brutality. How can an American Judge sign the death warrant of Dog, Leland and Tim for such a ‘petty charge’, considering the result being that the Dog and Crew brought a US wanted fugitive to justice? Is this the reward they will receive for bringing Andrew Luster to prison after being convicted in absentia? Is this how our government will actually show appreciation of what Dog and Crew did? If so, it is shameful, and I am not proud to be an American today!
Supporters have already cancelled trips to Mexico, boycotting Mexican business, and restaurants on American Soil, and we are also boycotting Max Factor products, and their affiliates.
We will send our message of disbelief and support any way we can for Dog, Leland, Tim and their families.
Please step in and up and show the American people that this can not and will not happen to any Americans and we will not take it anymore.
Show the American people that we can have faith and trust in our government to protect us all from such travesties of justice.
This can not happen in America to Americans!
God Bless Us all, and whoever can make the decision to save our faith in America!!!

DON'T CROSS THE BORDER UNTIL YOU READ THIS BOOK
Top Dozen things to remember when traveling in Baja California, Mexico (or other third world countries)
1. Always buy liability insurance if you drive. Legal insurance is a good idea also. Buses and taxis are cheap.
The Link
http://www.bookwarren.com/moreinfo.html
2. Don't go alone if possible, especially if you are a woman.
3. Have the telephone number of friends in the U.S. you can call if you get into trouble.
4. Stay away from anyone, male or female, who might be a minor. One person’s word can blackmail you or throw you in jail.
5. Know what medical drugs need a Mexican prescription and be sure and get one if needed. 7. Don't buy any more medicine that you can use in 90 days. A U.S. doctor's prescription is enough for the U.S. customs, but not for the Mexican police.
6. Don't trust what the pharmacist says. They will sometimes sell you a drug they know needs a prescription and then tip off the police for a kickback.
7. Park only in parking lot with attendants and tip them (sometimes the attendants work with thieves). Better yet - walk. As the police work with the car thieves, if your car is stolen, you can sometimes get it back if you pay a policeman a "finders fee" before the car is used in smuggling drugs and aliens or stripped for parts.
8. Never trust a policeman. Street criminals will pay the cop on the beat money for the right to rob people on their shift. The police are there to make money, not to protect you.
9. Don't rely on the American Consul in Tijuana. They are there to represents our country, not you. All they can do is notify your relatives or lawyer.
10. Don’t trust most Mexican lawyers, even the ones that the American Consul recommends. Most will try and overcharge you and some will even try to keep you in longer as long as you can pay them. Click here for the name of a lawyer you can trust.
11. Don’t flash money or valuables. Keep small bills as the merchants have to have change for two currencies and don’t carry much of either.
12. Hide your large bills and credit/debit cards. A money belt is a good idea. Don’t’ carry a purse that can be snatched easily. Don’t carry your billfold where it can be lifted easily.
You may think that I exaggerate, but I know. I spent almost three and a half in the "belly of the burro" and talked to the street criminals directly. Read my book, Tales from the Tijuana Jails, Volume I and II. Click here to order your copy.
In Mexico, with the Napoleonic Code, you are guilty unless you can prove your innocence or buy your way out. Don't think that I'm being unnecessarily hard on Baja. In the annual list of 133 countries in reverse order of corruption, Finland is the most honest country in the world, the U.S. is only the 16th and Mexico is number 56. There is a lot of corruption in the world and none of us are immune from it.

Bounty Hunter Signs to The Firm
BEVERLY HILLS, Calif., Oct. 12 /PRNewswire/ -- Duane "Dog" Chapman and his wife, Beth, from A&E's No.1 rated television show, "Dog the Bounty Hunter," have signed with managerial powerhouse The Firm for exclusive representation in all areas.
The Firm will coordinate all aspects of the Chapmans' business life including speaking engagements, television programming, publishing, merchandising and feature films.
The Chapman clan, whose third season is currently airing on A&E, is now filming episodes for season four. The show, a tremendous hit for A&E, reached new heights with the airing of its recent 2-hour wedding special, landing at No. 1 for all cable programming on its air date and beating traditional network programming as well.
The Firm signed the duo last week. Alan Nevins, who will lead The Firm team, was awakened by his new client informing him that Dog and two other members from the show had been arrested by U.S. Marshalls in relation to Dog's capture of Max Factor heir and Most Wanted list rapist Andrew Luster in Mexico in 2003.
The Firm and A&E coordinated efforts for a news special detailing the history of the Andrew Luster case and the extradition that Mexico was requesting of the Chapman team. The special, "The Family Speaks," also hit a high note in ratings for the Chapmans and A&E last week with approximately 4.5 million viewers -- with subsequent airings of the special also breaking records for the network.
Beth and Dog, from their home in Hawaii stated, "The family business has now outgrown the family. The Dog brand has increased drastically in the last year and it has become impossible to handle the amount of requests we receive on a daily basis. The Chapmans now graciously extend our Ohana to include The Firm."
The Firm is the largest talent management company in the business representing such artists as Leonardo DiCaprio, Cameron Diaz, Kelly Clarkson, Snoop Dogg, Korn and many others.

Dog Chapman took a rapist (whose behavior was escalating towards homicide) off the streets, and got him put where he belonged — behind bars for life. Luster tried to use his vast financial resources to evade justice — until the Dog was nipping at his heels and ultimately took him down.
Dog Chapman may be many things, but in this case, he's clearly a hero and should be recognized as such.

The Mexican Federalles must "CLEAN UP" their officers who have been known to look the other way concerning crime. The drug lords reign, with the higher officials, either unable to, or fearful of bringing these people to justice. The kidnappings, and beheadings are so bad there now, that even the local people in Tijuana are bringing attention to the situation by marching down the streets of TJ, risking their lives. I've lived on the border for forty years, and it's never been worse. This DOG CHAPMAN,THING IS TRULY A CROCK!!!!! It all adds up to $$$$$$$$$$$ Remember back when the dock workers up in long beach refused to accept the huge vodka shipment coming from Russia, because of our relationship with them at the time? Well they ( the Russian ship) went down to Ensenada, Mexico and it was promply unloaded there. ALL FOR THE ALMIGHTY BUCK!!!!! Of course the Mexican truck drivers brought the shipment up to the USA from Mexico, without any problem whatsoever, crossing from Mexico into San Ysidro CA. So bounty hunting is illegal in Mexico! Is there anything else illegal in Mexico??? If Dog, and his family are imprisoned in Mexico, It's time for us to totally boycott Mexico, and their products in every way. Let's wake up America, smell the hemmhroid cream, and get our heads out of our- you know what. I. Windchime
