Minor characters, sadly. Nurse Debbie and Joe the Bartender will be blogging during this season of Grey's Anatomy. They're blogging as the characters, mind you, not as the actors. The idea, according to ABC, is to blog about what's happening in between episodes. In the case of Joe, he'll be blogging about what the doctors are talking about at the bar. Cool, but I think the best character blog for Grey's would either be Cristina or Dr. Bailey.Other character blogs, which are actually pretty good, are The Office's Dwight Schrute and How I Met Your Mother's Barney Stinson, written by Rainn Wilson and Neil Patrick Harris. CBS is setting up a MySpace page for How I Met Your Mother and will have other character blogs there. According to this article, the character blog has been a relatively successful way of remaining connected with viewers between episodes. Only time will tell whether the Grey's Anatomy blogs will be of any success. I think the obvious difference between them is Dwight and Barney are major characters, while the nurse and the bartender are not.

Those blogs aren't new, they were already posted online during the last season. http://www.emeraldcitybar.com/ is Joe's blog. You can get Nurse Debbie's from that site.

They've had those blogs for a while. The writers' blog is pretty good.

The Grey's Anatomy blogs are old news. They're both great. I would say that yes, they're pretty successful too, considering that an official Grey's Anatomy book was just released containing the blogs and a whole lot more written by Joe and Debbie.

I love the blogs that are by Joe & Debbie. Sadie mentioned the writer's blog and I like that one even better. My only complaint is that they are not consistent as far as posting. But, I guess that goes with the territory.

What Barney says in How I Met Your Mother is not written by Neil Patrick Harris either.
Just to be clear.
