Do you think he used his catchphrase? Donald Trump has fired Carolyn Kepcher, the blonde assistant who has been at his side all these years on The Apprentice. The New York Post is reporting that Carolyn, who is merely 36 years old, was fired for not being able to focus. Apparently she's quite the busy bee now that she's a pseudo-celebrity and all. The paper says she's trying to juggle her responsibilities for Trump with her many speaking engagements and recently, while away on a speaking engagement, Trump was unable to reach her.Aside from monitoring the teams on The Apprentice, Carolyn's real job was to run the Trump National Golf Club in Westchester County, New York. Trump says her duties on the show will be done by his daughter, Ivanka. Maybe Carolyn's job is the big prize for the next winner of The Apprentice.

I thought it was tacky last season when Trump would bring in his kids over the regulars (apparently just to get face time.) Now for the level-headed and accomplished Carolyn to lose her gig on the Apprentice in favor of Trump's daughter is appalling. I suppose there's no such thing as bad PR in this industry (just ask the producers of this next Survivor) but this show was on my short list of "shows that I might not continue to watch" anyway and this was probably the last straw.
In any respect, it could be worse. Trump could have replaced Carolyn with Martha Stewart. LOL!

The Apprentice was actually turning around my view of Trump. He looked like a decent guy who gave good advice even to the ones he fired. Then he fires Carolyn because she wasn't available to him at the split second he wanted her (or worse, he just wanted her out of the way to showcase his kid). The show is now just entertainment crap and he turns out to be the self-centered egomaniac I thought he was.

Booooooo!!! Carolyn was one of the best parts of the show! It was refreshing to watch her emotions on her face which so revealed what she was thinking rather than just the ordinary poker faces you see on TV.

Donald, you exhibited poor leadership skills by firing Carolyn for not being at your beck and call. You also showed poor judgment by hiring a family member who will undoubtedly get less restrictive rules than the fair and impartial Carolyn. Donald, you're fired! No more Apprentice for me. Just go.

They act like the tv program was all she did. Shows doesn't matter how hard or long you work, it can be taken away so easily.

Well, THE DONALD has finally made a complete fool of himself. How boring, Carolyn was one of the reasons to watch. If, I was George I would watch my back.Now, he brings in Ivanka who is as exciting as a root canal. When she smiles she looks like she's constipated. She has no personality or class. I guess he wants all the $$$ to stay in the family. Oh, Lord maybe he'll bring in his inspipid son and they can round out BORING all together. Maybe Caroyln will get her own show, it certainly would be more entertaining then his show. Since, the APPRENTICE has become one long commerical.

She was fired for not doing her REAL JOB at his Country Club. It has been reported that when she was given a tour of the club that she couldn't tell people the prices in the sports shop. Something she should know as the BOSS of the place.
Not knowing the prices is something she would have nailed someone on the show for.
And if she doesn't work for Trump she shouldn't be on the show. So stop saying he shouldn't fired her from the show.

This is TOTAL bull. Carolyn was NOT fired because she wasn't available to Trump, she was fired because Trump is doing anything and everything he can right now to turn Ivanka into the next Paris Hilton and to make her the latest, hottest celebrity in America, and not even because of her brains, but because of her looks. Seriously, have you seen how much coverage she's been getting relative to magazine covers, articles or TV interviews of late? Do you actually think that was an accident of timing or part of a controlled media spin with Donald tossing some serious bucks to make SURE Ivanka gets tons of coverage. Gimme a break! I feel bad for Carolyn because she got sandbagged by Trump simply so he could pimp out and prop up his daughter. This was totally pre-planned and coordinated, all part of Trump's egotistical vision of making the Trump family name even more famous, sort of like making them the "new" Kennedys of the 21st century. Too bad for Donald that anyone with a brain can see right through his self-serving actions.

Design, do you really expect the manager of a large golf course to know the prices of items in the GIFT SHOP. Now hired workers in the gift shop who didn't know the prices I'd have an issue.
Carolyn might have been too busy on speaking tours, but Trump is the one who would give the approval for the time away and those speaking tours would be good marketing for the show and his organization.
Face it Carolyn was getting better press than Trump and she may have decided to move on to better things too.

This was a total shocking action. The beautiful, shrewd, smart, reserved Carolyn fired by Trump. I would love to know what her salary and speaking engagements brought in. Also, did Trump give her a dressing down or warning about her job performance? It will be interesting to see if she files a lawsuit for unjust dismissal- especially if her speaking engagements were done while she was using personal time or vacation days.
