This was an amazingly great episode. I so wanted Linc and Michael to get LJ.

However, I think they made Mahone a bit too smart. He's figuring things out pretty easily.

Is it legal to tape calls between inmates and their attorneys?

Bellick didn't have anyone from the union to represent him? And even if he were fired, he could go to arbitration. He and his union would have some recourse.

I don't understand why Pope quit. Had the positions been reversed, Bellick wouldn't have done the same thing.

"Prison Break" is a great show. It keeps you on your toes wondering what's going to happen next. I was really surprised about the elevator break out attempt.
Excellent story writing. Can't wait to see what happens the rest of the season.

Mahone is smart... I'm hoping he's smart enough to eventually discover the conspiracy with Lincoln and the president's brother. I wasn't a big fan of Veronica, but I was a big fan of that storyline, which appears to be all but finished.

Anyone else wonder how Tweener was able to get a haircut between last season and this season (since the escape only happened a day or two ago), without anyone noticing?

regarding c-note and sucre: I think it was okay to be like that. I mean, in real life people also do stuff there you keep wondering 'well, can't they think 2 steps ahead?'. It's more realistic the way it was done here (although it was probably mainly for the story anyway).
we're way to used to robotlike characters like you see in series as all the csi-stuff, who neverever do unlogical things. (see ncis as a great counterpart on that issue)

they could tape it because lincoln pretended to be someone who's already dead (which he didn't knew), so they knew it was made up and not from ljs attorney. mahone told that even lj. I think it'S good that the authors don't explain everything into every detail. but it seems not everyone seems to get that..;)

I'm willing to accept T-Bag's hand for the time being, because (as far as I could tell) it wasn't functional; he never moved his fingers. Sure, it'll probably heal up in two episodes and he'll be doing all sorts of things with it, but for right now, I'm buying it (barely).

What's up with Michaels strange blue hat? noone wears a suit and a baseball hat together. it doesn't help him blend in at all. Plus how could linc ever not wear his sunglasses?

I much as I loved Prison Break last season, last night's episode should have been named "Fonzie Jumps the Shark". Tea-Bag's severed hand gets sewn back on and he can immediately hold it up to admire? Gimme a break. It's obvious this program had a one-season life. Now they're just gonna make stuff up as they go along.

Keith and Chris: did you completely miss the part where Tweener walked out with a shaved head and dumped a pair of scissors, etc. into the trash can at the bus depot? I thought they made it pretty obvious - in fact, I was thinking "if I saw a dude walk up THAT sketchily and drop something in the trash at a bus station, I'd call security." Hit your TiVos, gents.

A good episode! Looks like they're managing to keep up the show's intensity. That may be a hard thing to continue outside the prison walls.

Besides the fact that he's smart, one reason I like Mahone is that he's not connected at all with "the conspiracy". Last year it seemed like everyone connected to the government was immediately a bad guy and up to no good. He actually seems outside the loop. For all we know, they'll try to get to him (hmmm, where's Kellerman these days?) and he'll flip and decide to let Michael & Lincoln go when he finds out what's going on.

Bellick was destined to go on a crazed manhunt as soon as he was brought out from under that floor in the break shack. This just gives them a way to realistically keep him in the cast, and on the trail, without that pesky prison job filling up all his time. Although considering this show's history of offing characters, I was buying it that he was going to kill himself, right up until his mother started talking from the other room.

Yeah, what is it with the baseball hat and the suit? And Lincoln (the one who presumably was ALL OVER the papers when he was arrested & convicted of shooting the VP's brother) walking around with no disguise at all? How dumb are they?

I don't think that Tweener is handling himself well. He was walking around without even a hat or a hood at the beginning of the show, and he still puts off an awkward, I'm-a-psycho vibe even with the Utah girl.

As far as T-Bag's hand goes, if it ever turns out to be more than a dead hunk of flesh, then the writers are completely abandoning any attempt at believability.

Anyone notice the dumb grammar error in the newspaper headline? It said "Burrow's" as a possessive (for his son, I think? I can't remember the context) when it should've been "Burrows's".
