There's been a bit of a meltdown over at the Hungarian site. I've documented more of the trouble the Colbert Nation has caused on the link referenced in this web site (http://www.nofactzone.net/?p=132). Long story short, they cleaned up the site, deleted "Steven Colbert" and purged over 2500 votes. He's down to 58 now. On the up side, people can actually get in and vote now. Maybe. I'm not 100% sure of that. I found an error message with that page earlier.

If any of you truly want Colbert to win this I encourage you to download this program http://www.xenostasis.com/junk/bridge.zip It will automatically vote for you. Just download, unzip and let it run in the background while your computer is on. It dosen't use many resources so you'll hardly know it is running. I downloaded it myself earlier today (about 4 hours ago, and it has voted 400 times for me). I have found no ill-side-effects from the program, and the link was orginally found on the colbert forum at http://www.colbertnation.com/messageboard/viewtopic.php?p=66066&highlight=cookies#66066

I hope you all will download this and help Colbert in his hunt to get an Hungarian bridge named after him.

The rules have been changed, now only registered users can vote. Registration is not difficult at all, there's even a step-by-step description here, which guides you through the whole process:

In Hungary, you can't name a bridge after a living person. That's the law (as i know).

I think someone should draw Mr Colbert’s attention to the fact that: 1. according to Hungarian law no living person’s name can be given to a geographical site or bridge or the like; 2. the final decision about the name is made by a commission which overrules any result of any vote. my wild guess is that Stephen does not qualify in the first category and does not stand a chance in the second one.

The Bridge can't be named after Colbert or Chuck Norris or anybody, who isn't dead. Yes, Chuck Norris, but it can't be too.
What do you think, the other names were added by the government? "Chuck Norris" or "The government of tax increase - bridge" :) ?
