Just after Mike Wallace "retired", he re-signed with CBS as a correspondent emeritus. But he told reporters that "there's an understanding that I'm not going to be getting on airplanes and flying all over the world, but there are going to be certain important interviews I will do for 60 Minutes."Well, it looks like he was right about everything except the flying part; on Tuesday, Wallace went to Tehran to interview Iranian president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, which will be broadcast on the venerable newsmagazine this Sunday. This interview is one of the few that Ahmadinejad has granted to a Western journalist, and, as one would expect, he criticizes President Bush and his administration's dealings with the country, among other topics. It seems like evil despots like to talk to Mike, since he's spoken to Saddam Hussein and the Ayatollah Khomeini in the past.

The man as recently as 2 weeks ago called for the destruction of the state of Israel. Calling it "the only way to end the mid east crisis", Funbags do you agree with that statement? This was from a direct quote televised. You can goggle for the video and see for yourself.
He has said on multiple occasions as recently as a couple months ago that there was never any holocaust.
Do you agree with that statement? Funbags, do you deny that Holocaust?
He is supporting Hezbollah financially, physically, with training, weapons, missiles and money.
Hezbollah is a terrorist organization.
Why is he a jerk? What is wrong with you. This is not some misunderstood world leader. This is a madman who is seeking nuclear weapons to destroy Israel and threaten the West. This is a man who denies that 6 millions Jews were murdered and sent to Gas Chambers and shot like dogs. Who gives a damn about how he plays nice on a propaganda piece on CBS! Why are we giving him a stage to “fix his image”??
Let me ask you, did Wallace ask any of these questions?
- Why are you training Hezbollah and supporting their effort to kill and attack Israeli's.
- Why do you deny the Holocaust, but don't like comparisons to Hitler
- If you believe in peace between your country and the West why don't you adhere to the United
Nations resolutions instead of antagonizing world leaders and defying world directives.
- Why did he as recently as a couple weeks ago say again the problem would be solved if we just destroyed Israel.
Are all these questions so hard that Mike Wallace can't think of them? Or is he afraid if he asks these real questions he won't get invited back for breakfast at the next U.N. shindig

My view is, the President must take care of his own people first, if he needs the support of americans. Why presume the grass (read gas) is greener on the other side. Lets use our own heads, and develop an alternate source for energy, instead, of going begging, borrowing, and stealing.
Can we believe in ourselves or are we so dumb we have just lost faith? Thats my point. Rest is upto HIM.
