A&E. PLEAAAAAAAAAAAAASE get ride of the Montelongo's. Everyone in my family can't stand their personalities. I just don't understand how someone can get through life with Armondo's attitude. He is so stupid and arrogant. Then you have his wife who allows him to treat her like garbage. She needs to get a backbone and divorse his stupid ass. Why are most women in Texas just so darn stupid???

Ture that Armando has a big ego but in terms of business, he is very successful and even inspiring.
I watched the show last night and LOVED it. I came online today to search a back story on these people and am very surprised to see how many people hated the show. But then I realized it makes perfect sence. The fact that so many people hate the Montelongo explains why so few people are successful.

Armando Montelongo makes me sick. He reminds me of a wanna-be, big time drug dealer from early 90's El Paso.
His brother kissing his ass is pathetic and when both women quit worrying about what stip club the guys have been too, they'll wake up and leave them.

Armando and his group may be better entertainers than flippers. In the market for a house myself, I checked out the 2 houses in the "competition" episode, located on School and Glenwood Streets. From outside it was apparent, both were poorly done. Those red doors appeared hideously amateurish due to insufficient priming and overaggressive spraying. Peering through the windows revealed broken tiles, unfinished trim, sloppy drywall work, and chipped appliances. I can't imagine what hidden horrors might exist! The School St house remains empty with an overgrown yard full of broken glass and demo debris. The Glenwood house , also vacant, has another realtor's sign in the yard. Have A&E fans been duped???

Please bring back Trademark Properties, Richard & Ginger. I cannot believe A&E allows such unproffesional people such as the Montelongo home buyers to have their own Television show. How can a person who's say on national television " Do not stab us in the back w/ a knife, we will come after you and get what we want" be allowed on the air?

I just don't understand how a television network can allow crap like this on television? If that isn't bad enough, how can you condone the actions of these two clowns by not cancelling the show?

I feel bad for the people who actually purchase the homes remodelled by the montelongo home buyers. With last nights show, they actually spray painted the tiles w/ paint in the shower.

These people are clowns and they're not even entertaining.

I'd like to know why my comment was deleted. I use to be #23 or #24. I responded to #22's comment about "the upper-crust Hispanic being portrayed as successful and not the stereotypical short, dark and cheap labor!" Anyway, I watched another episode last night. That whole auction thing. That was so staged. Who would pay $135K for that house on Bobwhite when you could've paid the same price to have a new one built? And what's the story with that intern? Why would anyone want to follow in the footsteps of Armando Montelongo? I know plenty of people who flip homes in SA & they don't act anywhere near like these two amateurs. I'm telling you ... they make San Antonio & hispanic people look bad! I'm embarrassed for them. And I don't think they realize that they're making themselves look bad too.

Finally I found someplace to vent my disgust over the actions of the Montelongo, specifically Armando. I just watched the LAST episode of Flip This House when they are on it. Granted he is egotistical, demeaning to his family etc but I figure that they should be able to take care of themselves. What I REFUSE to watch is the joy he takes in screwing over the contractors who all seem to be decent people just trying to make a living. A&E should be ashamed that they have let this show continue. If they think that the "drama" is going to attract viewers then they have sorely misjudged just what people expect to see when they tune into the show. I invite everyone that is disgusted by Mr. Montelongo to do what I did....write to A&E and complain.

I work in Real Estate, and how aweful, the Montelongo's are an embarrasment to the profession. I saw a show where they did a flip recemtly, and OMG they painted the grass, and the bidder on the house did not kjnow that and, they never treated for the cockroach's, you could clearly see on the show. WHATS UP WITH THAT!!!!!!!!!

Wow after reading these comments I now know why the divorce rate is so high in America. Wussy's (wussy = pussy + wimp) all around. push over men that cant keep a woman attracted because they've lost there masculinity. it amazes me just how many men just don't get it and are threatened by other masculine men that hold their own and don't take any BS from anyone. Wussy's don't understand why men like Armando can get away with being assertive. There are two ways of doing things your way or someone else's way. Deep down all women want an assertive man who will lead.

You're right. The guy comes off like a hard ass. But, have you ever run your own business? Sometimes, that is what it takes because, unfortunately, people will take advantage of you. Besides, you only see an hour in his business career and it's for television. I am a woman, I have been a business owner, and I love the show.
To the guy that wants "Bill what's his name", he's still on A&E, open your eyes.

I too am disguested with the content of this "show". I particularly just loved the episode in which they sold their own home, and were remodeling the house in which they were to live....you know "Rancho Montelongo"...hmmm, what was that? a whole 3 acres? My thought was that a ranch was somewhat LARGER than that. This guy must have some super ego not only to think he now owns a "ranch" but also at the part (did ya'll notice this?) that there were just no hotel rooms in the city for less than $180 per nite to stay in, awwwwwwwww. I could have sworn that Motel 6 was $49.95 a night. A & E really needs to figure out if this is a reality show or a drama or even perhaps a comedy---unfortunately no one's laughing.

Tonight was the first time I had seen Flip This House, and it will be the last time I watch. The lies and deception between the couples makes me sick. And they way they treat their workers. They had them work late to win a competition with the wives, and lo and behold, the workers stole the kitchen cabinets! And the entire scene with having those 'barmaids' come over to distract the contractors. I did feel sorry for the girls because they didn't get paid to come to the party and probably only said yes because they were on TV. The Montelongo men obvisouly didn't care about how their deception would affect anyone: the contractors who got fired, the barmaids who were used to look cheap, or even their own wives. This is nothing but AE's version of a Jerry Springer house flip show.
